I was disappointed in this trail, after the first crossover (we managed to stay dry) there were tall weeds and poison ivy. We turned back and then drove south to Jackson Falls which is a real jewel.

This was a great and challenging hike, totally worth the trip. It is moderately challenging, so be prepared. Bring lots of water and if you have hiking poles, I recommend bringing them too. The ascent took me about 3 hrs (with breaks) and descent 2.5hrs. Definitely stop at the lodge for lunch. They have bagged lunches with unlimited coffee/hot chocolate refills and a place to fill up your water bottle. If you're in decent shape, this hike won't be as difficult for you as many people commented. It's challenging, but don't let that deter you. The views were spectacular!

exelente please, love it

easy although it has an incline and stairs. very beautiful

No place to park so we did not hike it. Not sure where those who do hike this actually park because there were Private property, no trespass, no parking, and tow away signs all over the area.

Loved it!!!! I was disappointed with the pieces of glass randomly down the trail possibly some Partiers who didn't take nature serious. Come on people let's clean up after ourselves. I do plan to go back and to pick up those pieces of glass on my next go at it.

Training hike for upcoming CO 14er hike.
