Not a hike, but a very enjoyable and accessibile nature walk on paved roads.
Children’s play structure and restroom shelter at Aspen Grove Parking lot.
Flowing river winds through the path. Sweet foot bridges. Very nice daffodil field to be found! Enjoy!

This trail is part of Pinkerton Park.
The climb isn’t easy, but the rest of the trail is. Great view of Franklin and some historical landmarks along the way.

This is a very easy trail. It’s paved and there are a few options to go ‘off trail’ where you can explore some grassy trails and historical plaques talking about a Civil War battle. I wouldn’t call this ‘hiking’, but it’s a nice park!

Great trail. Stuck to the main ridge trail— the East Slope was narrower and didn’t feel as stable on the slope. Wouldn’t define this as “easy” if you’re a beginning hiker— especially the part of the East Slope we did.

Our Cub Scout Pack has started a monthly hike to the program and this was the first hike. At 1.3 miles it was the perfect length for both our older Scouts and our young Lions. The trail was a bit muddy but the weather was perfect. Only issue was the bathrooms were still closed due to the Gov't Shutdown.

This is a great trail that’s well marked. Rocky, roots, with lots of twists and climbs. Takes computer ficus.

Easy, quiet hike. Trails aren’t marked very well. Good for sometime outside. Nice woodland area along the Trace with wildlife. I came across a large buck and various bird species during my hike.

Nice hike, close to town. Well marked and lots of opportunities to adjust to desired length. Defiantly will hike again.

Easy to moderate hike. Beautiful overlook spot.

Just a great laid out trail through old growth timber. Had a couple scenic overlooks. A good one when on the trace.

Great area, nice overlook, trail meanders through old growth timber, just a great hike.

Nice hike that follows a creek quite a ways. More pleasant than I expected.

nice little greenway that follows a nice small creek. Sadly, there is no waterfall

Great hike for a Cub Scout Pack. 5-8 year olds did well. Little bit of horse pooh, but otherwise a very nice hike!

this trail is overly easy. a 5 year old girl scout troop could enjoy doing this. so if you complain about this trail or its condition, go to a city park where there are paved easy trails. I run this trail and can keep a quick pace even when wet, but perhaps I'm used to running on uneven ground and loose rock. Either way, it's not difficult

Probably a better hike in the winter time...summer hiking proved to be very difficult with overgrowth and the accompanying tick infestation. Hiked from the 1812 monument to Garrison Creek and decided to walk the road back rather than pick more ticks off of me and my dog.

love this app. I travel often just to visit trails and this app makes it easy.

Do not do the Garrison loop trail that passes back over the Trace. It is an absolute nightmare as it is overgrown and not maintained at all. Be prepared to wade thru the creek thigh deep to get out of there. Best to back track on the horse trail back to the parking lot. More of a place for cyclists to park to begin their ride.

Loop? Not really. Tangled up with a horse trail that leaves you 2kil from your car. Ankle breaking loose stones the size of softballs. Muddy track very very poorly marked.

Simple, green, beautiful.

More of an alternative for mall walkers, especially considering it’s location, but it’s a nice walk at lunchtime or when you need a break from work. There is a park for the kids as well as multiple picnic areas and facilities.

I work down the road. I go to this park on my lunch break to get alittle exercise in and fresh air.

good walking path for dog and don't have to worry about getting muddy.

It is a nice walk, but the trails are not maintained very well.

Nice casual trail. With fall the trail gets hidden in places from the leaves but not impossible to follow. Some muddy places but you can get around them

Decent hike. Lots of good inclines. Narrow rocky trails. It was harder for us bc we had our old lady dog with us

Easy paved walk with a couple of bridges. Wonderful for what it is.

I was disappointed in this trail, after the first crossover (we managed to stay dry) there were tall weeds and poison ivy. We turned back and then drove south to Jackson Falls which is a real jewel.
