Breath taking!! the waterfalls are beautiful. the hike isn't too long to the falls, but it is STEEP. wear good shoes, don't jump off any rocks and enjoy the view. I wouldn't say this one is kid friendly but definitely dog friendly.

Beautiful waterfall wear water shoes if you get in water there is some broken glass

Very short hike but super nice swimming hole. People were jumping off rocks pretty high up, there’s also more trails if you follow the creek on back with more swimming holes. Overall it was beautiful!! But also pretty crowded :)

After about a mile up the service road you reach the fire tower. The trail continues into the woods (blue blaze markers) at the bend in the service road right before turning to go up to the fire tower. However, the Trail is still VERY overgrown. I hacked about .2-.3 of a mile into it John Muir style but it just wasn’t worth it. If you are looking to get to flint rock for the overlook just take the flint mill trail instead.

To get to the hole stay to the left, there are a couple different trails there

Very short hike to multiple waterfalls! Beautiful place. Go off the trail and follow the creek to find hidden falls! Great swimming hole!

this is a sorry excuse for a hike. you can hear the falls from the parking lot and you just walk down some stairs. I read the other reviews stating the same thing, but I didn't expect it to be that close. the falls are really pretty and I love that there were teirs. it's a good place to go if you want to swim and only have a short walk.

Beautiful falls. Not well marked. Easy hike and well worth the stairs!!

Not really a hike. Pretty river views. Just Nice walk. Easy to get to. right in Town.

Not really a hike. Just a few steps from the pull off to the falls. Beautiful. Plan on returning in summer with Chaco’s and swimming trunks.

Easy hike down to Blue hole and grotto falls. Beautiful scenery . You can walk around to the left of blue hole and up through some brush to access a cliff at the top you can jump off of into it. Be careful. It can be slippery

Easy short hike to some amazing waterfalls. Usually lots of people here. Hard to get good pictures unless you go early or late on week day.

Small but beautiful falls with swimming hole. Saw it when frozen and plan to go back in the spring. Not much of a hike but coming back up the stairs from the bottom of the falls is brutal if you’re not in shape.

Good hiking/jogging trail. Great views of the lake this time of year and the Tri-Cities area.

Great hike with amazing waterfalls

Beautiful..love this place!!

Absolutely breathtaking!

it was fun just watching adults and kiddos jumping in the cold water. a very cool place to hang out.

Beautiful little spot. More of a walk then a hike. Nice place to swim and enjoy the day.

Beautiful! Great swimming hike!

My favorite swimming hole and waterfall. It's sometimes too crowded though.

If there is a large waterfall, it has been closed to the public. The trail is unimpressive and not as awing as you would expect a forest hiking trail to be. There was a long shallow stream that separated a clearly visible road and the trail, so the trail doesn't actually go into the forest at all... just around it. This was a very disappointing trip.

Highly overgrown! It was a guess as to which way the trial went a head of you. I DO NOT recommend doing right now. I turned back after a short bit to be safe.

This was one of the few bad experiences I've ever had while hiking. The trail was so overgrown and poorly blazed that I spent a good part of the day wondering if I was lost. The logging areas only add to the confusion. The last mile or so before the summit is so thick with Stinging Nettle that I wouldn't try this hike without gaiters or long pants. On the positive side this trail does offer a good workout!!!

The first mile and the last half mile is nice. In summer it is easy to miss the HMT near the tower. It is not really near the tower, but it starts on the road curve behind you when you look at the tower. Then, it is the 2 miles of hike in stinging nettle (summer the trail is overgrown with them). The map do not show the 0.5 extra walk to the flint rock, which should be the main destination. The view from the flint rock is pretty nice, but the hike there is not really.
