Great trail! Amazing views. I have hiked several trails and this one ranks up there as a must see. 6yr old and Cockapoo dog had no problems.

Nice for the family

Very quick and easy; wide trail; great view of the Stratobowl at the end.

One of my favorite little hikes to get some fresh air and take in the views!

awesome hike

Easy, road-width trail. Good for all ages and abilities. Slight hills to get to the lookout. The scenery at the lookout is amazing. The information about the first balloon flights is fenced in but quite interesting to read.

Great trail, well maintained. Only saw two other hikers. Started from the Sheridan Lake trailhead and went about 2.2 miles in and back again. Interesting tunnels along the way.

Easy walk on a road no longer used. Great view at the end. I remember years age being able to drive back there on that road. make sure you read about the history on the pillars in the fenced area. view at the end is spectacular.

Hiked 5 miles in from Sheridan Lake and back. Trail is great with nice views and beautiful fall colors. The hike is pretty easy following the flume. The history and seeing the remains of the flume and tunnels are what make this trail great.

Great trail! Have done two separate parts of the trail at different times, hope to do the whole thing sometime.

Awesome time! Great trail!!

Trailhead can easily be missed driving 60mph down the highway. Trail is just a gravel road that winds around a forested area. Lots of trees cut down and piled up along the side of the trail. Very secluded, but again, it could be because it's a gravel road that has been blocked off to car entrance. No true parking area. Road went downhill most of the way, so unclear if this was actually the trail or used to be the road to get to the trailhead which would lead up? Very disappointed.

Great trail! Great scenery, you will see it all! We started at Sheridan Lake and went to Rockerville and it was more like 14 miles:)

Beautiful scenery! I didn't give it a five only because it's fairly high traffic and all the boats on the lake make it not very secluded.

Beautiful scenery and a relaxing walk/hike.

Great trail. Very easy. And the views are spectacular once you get to the top. Interesting information about atmospheric balloon tests. Would highly recommend. Dog and kid friendly.

Easy hike to the top but the view down feels a bit unsafe as the cliff just drops off with no barrier. A bit scary with kids.

Good trail. Saw no people after the first two miles. Beautiful scenery. The trail in the middle is poorly and often bizarrely marked. Be prepared for occasionally backtracking to find the trail.

Little steep for about a half mile once you leave Centennial Trail on to #40 so I would give it between easy to moderate. Nice open meadow walk for the last mile into Silver City. Close to paved roads so around Rally time can't escape cycle noise.

Great trail, mostly shaded with scenic views every step of the way.

Fun easy hike with a beautiful view!

2 of the 4 bridges are still out - creek rock bed is sharp so plan accordingly; signs are present - just gray colored and trail is sometimes only footpath wide and therefore easy to miss, also trails 89 and 50 overlap. Be leary of taking small children since there is lots of loose rock trails along steep cliffs. Bring water and would suggest trekking poles.

Very comfortable trail, easy for little ones.

We only went in 2 miles and turned around because was a really hot day, i would say it should be ranked moderate not easy. A lot of elevation climb in what we walked.
