Hiked this trail July 4th, 2018. it was a gorgeous hike with temperatures in the low 80's. The area has gotten a lot of rain lately so there were lots of little stream crossings, but nothing more than 2 feet wide. Trail was a little muddy in some areas and overgrown a little as well, but it was always easy to see the trail. The last leg will have you breathing hard, but the views are worth it.

Creek was high & several crossings were stepping stones only & the high water & current made crossing difficult. Lots of poison ivy along the trail. Shared trail with mostly horses. Fairly flat easy & not very crowded.

Pretty trail, nice and level terrain. A bit muddy in places. 11 water crossings total one way. We started from the west end of the trail off Remington Camp Rd. Cool road with 10 more water crossings on little wooden bridges.

Decent trail, started at the Iron Mountain Picnic Area and by the time we hit the end of the trail it was only 1.5 miles so we made our way down Forrest Rd 325 to TH #7 (Grizzly Bear Creek), then switched to the Centennial Trail and looped back to the picnic area. Great day for hiking Iron Mountain!

We made this trail a loop by getting on the Forest service road to Grizzly Creek, and hooked back up to the Centennial trail 89B back to the picnic area. Lots of downfall, but very peaceful and beautiful.

A great day hike ending with excellent views of Cathedral Spires. Hardly saw anyone else even on July 4 weekend.

Seasoned hikers may not enjoy this. Not much elevation gain or difficulty for the first 2 miles. Water capable hiking shoes/sandals are a definite plus.

One of my favorite hikes in the Black Hills. The hike is very easy but it crosses the water over 12 times and has beautiful views. I have a feeling it would be even more beautiful during wildflower season!

This is one of my favorite trails in the Black Hills. The trail takes you through many different environments and has a few water crosses. I always enjoy hiking this trail!

A nice family hike around the Badger Clark home. Trail was easy to follow, and was short and easy enough for a family with younger kids.
