Hiked with two boys (9 & 7) - bring bug spray! Little slippery on the boardwalks and did run across one copperhead but no problems & everyone liked it

Very easy biking around the lake. Very pretty, only about 1.5mile loop.

Had a blast on the trail today with my wife, very easy ridding. Many spots are in the open sun so wear sunscreen like we didn’t XD

Always Awesome!

Wonderful way to explore Nature in Greenville.

Can actually hike side trails for a total of 13 miles. Bring bug spray and water. Early on weekdays is the best time to avoid crowds. My favorite place in the lowcountry to hike.

Love this place! It’s always so clean and feels super safe. There’s always a lot of people in the early mornings and late afternoon so if you’re looking for a quiet walk try to go somewhere in between those times. But even if there are a lot of people, there is plenty of room along the path to pass. If you’re a runner, this is perfect for you. I run here a handful of times a week and it’s marked with distance signs along the path so you can track how many miles you’ve run.

I love cycling from Kroc Center to TR you can stop at Furman along way and eat lunch in downtown TR.
Great for all levels of cyclists however if novice be sure to pay attention and stay to right. Many experienced cyclists use trail and on weekends very busy.

Only walked the bit in TR so far. We will take the whole thing once we get bicycles.

Nice and safe.

I love this trail, even though it's totally paved. It's perfect for walking, training for runs of all distances, and cycling. There is some shade and many access points. I love that you don't have to cross many streets-2!

Great scenery with a little bit of history. The pavement is well taken care of.

First time today riding on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Started at the trailhead in Traveler's Rest. Something of note is that you cannot park at this trailhead but rather at the Ingles about 1/2 mile away. This will require riding a small segment of White Horse Road as you pull out of the Ingles parking lot to get to Tate where the trail starts, or ends depending on your start point. We rode to the lake at Furman and back. Easy ride, albeit a little crowded at points, through varying scenery including woods, creeks, a lake, and cosy downtown Traveler's Rest - where you can rest on a park bench or at a locally owned restaurant.

Nice gradual incline coming from 13th street bridge to end on bike. Great recovery speed at turn around on back. Great trail with incorporating the Augusta White Water Canal trail making a good 28.2 mile travel.

Beautiful scenery!

Great trail for getting some cardio in! Certainly not a hiking trail by any means but it’s fun to explore. Great for walking, running or riding bikes. Can get really crowded in most stretches but it’s still a great way to get outside.

Absolutely beautiful even if it was a HOT, HOT day!

We rode our bikes over, ready to pay access fee, but they do not allow public biking through the reserve. You have to drive a car in with your bikes loaded, pay the $6.00 entry fee, and then can bike.

Great main trail. More of an out and back, if you plan to stay on maintained trail. Great bird watching. Go out to White Point (less maintained) to see quiet beach full of little crabs. Saw a 3 ft shark there, too! Definitely wear bug spray.

Love it very good for running!!

Nice variety of scenes along this trail. At the Southern tip, the wetland environment is great for birding. On the Northern side, the town of Traveler's Rest is quaint shops and restaurants. The trail is mostly flat and ideal for bike riding. Part of the trail is shared with automobile traffic, but the majority is not.

Not much to see, but a relaxing walk.
