The trail is smooth, about 18 miles (Sept. 2019), pretty flat and goes thru woods, marshes with views of tidal creeks and bays. Great for watching shore and wading birds. Lightly traveled most of the time. Cleaned regularly by volunteer organizations that adopt a portion of the trail. I’ve never felt uncomfortable riding alone. Water fountains and benches along way. Parking at many areas of entry that are easily accessible. One must be careful in wooded areas as deer are liable to pop out! Had a few close calls. Always wear your helmet and riding gloves in case of a fall. Overall: Wonderful trail that many of us use quite often.

Very scenic route in places and a nice bike ride from end to end. Lightly traveled so it can be a leisurely ride or one you can attack. Not very challenging but a nice ride none the less.

Ummm....trail might be good but the directions took me to abandoned apartment complex so it will remain a mystery.

Great trail for riding but the parking areas are not easy to find. The train depot parking lot is easier to find since the depot is shown on Google maps. Turn right at the depot parking lot and cross the trail to get to a better parking area without potholes. I think one of the better parking area is at the Broome Lane and Anders Lane intersection. It’s not as busy and it has a porte potty that’s kept very clean. The depot parking area has a bicycle repair station with tools, air pump and a work station to hold your bike elevated so you don’t have to squat to work on it. Overall this is a nice paved trail.

Beautiful refuge hidden near downtown Port Royal. Great for wildlife, especially spring and summer.

Nice short little walk. Very beautiful. Hard to see from the road, but it's right next to the police department.

This is a neat little boardwalk trail around some wetlands in Port Royal. Lots of birds, ducks, and maybe an alligator if you're lucky. If you are in Port Royal, it's a decent walk.
