LOVE this trail!

on Raven Rock Loop Trail

I did both loops. Late morning/early afternoon hike, and very few people on trail. There were a few places along the trail where tree branches fell due to recent storms. Forest views with beautiful overlook of lake. Lots of elevation changes.

Went there today, 7/22/18. Could not find the trail for the falls. Checked in at the little store in the campgrounds...they said the trail was closed due to fire damage.

this is an easy little hike around the lake inside Table Rock State Park. Not a ton of elevation change but a good view of the dam waterfall. really cool for the kids. plenty of places to wet a hook should you decide to.

This trail was not as easy as I thought it would be! Great workout for me.

LOVE THIS TRAIL! My 2yo and 5yo really enjoy the small bridges, view of the dam overflow, and small creek crossings. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. Also, there is a bench next to the dam that has the perfect view of Table Rock.

Great trail with nice views/overlooks. Elevation changes galore - a very rewarding hike.

The main trail is fairly easy to follow, but this trail is super overgrown. I wouldn’t take small children and wear long pants. If you are near by, it’s a quick walk to an amazing overlook, but save this for the fall. Sunbathing snakes! The overgrowth make them hard to spot. We saw one small snake going to the overlook, and my 15 year old STEPPED ON a sizable one on the way back. Some locals indicated that there are numerous timber rattlers in this area. We won’t go back.

One of the only hikes in table rock state park that you won’t be surrounded by other hikers the entire time. Beginner - Intermediate level hike. Don’t miss the trail head to the falls, trail right, immediately after the creek crossing. The hike up is breath taking, steep creek with granite cliffs and boulder gardens surrounding. Don’t be a pack mule, be sure to get off trail and look around. Caves, swimming holes, and so much more to be had here .

A decent trail until you get off onto the spur. Overgrown with nettles at your ankles (hiked in June) Fallen trees block your way on the spur and it’s hard to traverse in general. No views either.

I don’t know if it’s always like this, but the trail was super overgrown. Totally our fault for not wearing pants, but thank goodness we had on bug spray. I did it with my 3 year old and my 10 month old baby in a backpack carrier and my 3 year couldn’t enjoy the hike due to batting off plants in her face the entire time. The overlook is gorgeous though, making the hike/walk worth it...for me a least haha.

Easy walk. Rained when I went which made it a bit slippery. Loved the view and peace. Trail head feels hidden by all the overgrowth; however, I loved the fact there weren’t a lot of people on the trail. I loved this trail. Wish it was longer! Needs to be cut a bit because it is a tad overgrown. Wonderful view. Not any designated parking, must look for trail.

breathtaking views and although a little grown up the trails were gorgeous as well.. the trail head isn't far past the fork (there's a yield sign on the opposite side of the road) we parked on the side of the road. there's quiet a few different paths and weren't marked very well but wasn't much of an issue. overall great hike and will definitely visit again

Hike natural bridge trail to raven creek loop. Steep in some areas but nicely marked and flat gravel. Had 3 kids and 2 dogs with us and it was a nice hike.

Love it went in September...

Delightful hike (even at age 72 and with bad knees). Had to lean on the shoulders of my wife Jan a few times on the steeper declines but what a joy this trail offers. Lovely views of the lake and mountains, and a few blooming Rhodedendrons as an added bonus.

Just the right length for 3 elementary school kids to stay excited without getting bored. Wonderful view. People are having trouble finding the trail head because the sign fell over and is laying beside it. It's on the right side of the road about 150 feet or so up the road from the yield sign, which is on the left side of the road. It was clean and no trash. I had the kids wear pants because someone said there were ticks. No ticks, but that turned out to be a good idea because the path is narrow in places and there is some poison ivy, though no more than any other trail I've hiked. Hesitated after some of the reviews here, but so glad we did it. You should, too.

well worn trail, nowhere designated to park but we just parked on the side of the road across from the sign so no biggy. views are great and my dogs loved the shorter trail for a change !

Great hike, not as easy for us older folks, but well worth it. There are a lot of trees fallen across the trail. In one spot the trail is totally obscured. We tried to follow the track on Alltrails and still ended up off trail. We eventually spotted the trail below us, the descent back down to it was steep. Following the trail back it was not hidden.

Great easy hike to a pretty waterfall. The the connection spur to the waterfall is unmarked but well established. It ascends rapidly at the very end. Take your time and the view will be well worth your hard work.

Just hiked to the highest point and back. Great afternoon hike.

hiked this today with my 5 & 3 year old sons. They loved it and so did I. We hiked in some lunch and ate at the lookout. Overall it was a great day!!

Kid friendly, many side trails. the trail is marked periodically, but the main trail is pretty worn and easy to follow. When you come to a 3-way: left goes to towers at the top, middle and right go to beautiful overlook! It doesn't take long to complete the trail!

Nice trail although the natural bridge doesn’t look that natural.
We camped at devils fork and hike this around mid day, there are some really nice overlooks of the lake.

Gorgeous trail trail with lots of small waterfalls

The rock ledge overlooking the lake offers some really nice views.

Great winter trail. You can hear the road for the first mile or so but it wasn’t bad. Great winter views and the lake is amazing! Campsites are large and the location is great. Definitely a good workout and lots of climbing. Trail is well maintained and marked.
