Hiked with two boys (9 & 7) - bring bug spray! Little slippery on the boardwalks and did run across one copperhead but no problems & everyone liked it

Great trail, well taken care of wide path, well marked, $2 entry fee per person. lightly traffic considering I was there on a Saturday. 3/4 of the trail is shaded.

Had a blast on the trail today with my wife, very easy ridding. Many spots are in the open sun so wear sunscreen like we didn’t XD

Hiked this along with the firebreak, stewardship, midlands MTN trails this morning. That added a decent level of difficulty to the loop. This trail felt more like it believed in NE South Carolina rather than the heart of the midlands.

Hiked this loop this morning added spiderwoman as well to get something a little more technical. Tons of MTN Bikes on the trails but was still a great hike.

I am from East Tennessee and I decided to bring my mountain bike with me on vacation after seeing these trails online. I honestly had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised! The trails are well designed, have some fun jumps and drops, and is good for runners as well. For runners, it goes the opposite direction of the bikers and has go around for blind areas to help avoid collisions. I will go back again before leaving and bring my bike again in the future. I hope to see even more features next time. I really enjoy some technical/jumps/drops!

Nice easy loop around the lower lake.

It's one of my favourites on FATS. Counter clockwise is where it's at!

Great mountain bike trail for me the wife and 2 kids 13 and 14. Very sandy but fun. Did apply the bug spray and had no problems. GPS clocked 6 miles. Restrooms also not too far away. Even in 95 deg sun.(shady trail) Two thumbs up.

I hiked this trail on a weekday and it was my first time in Paris Mtn. State Park. I think it might be a bit longer than indicated here, but it was an enjoyable hike. It took me about 1 hour and 45 minutes. As others have said, if you begin hiking upstream, the climb is steep but beautiful, and the second part of the hike is easy but relatively uninteresting after a brief tree-filled view at the top. I would hike this trail again, but I’d hike out and back so that I could enjoy the stream for the entire hike.

I only did the West Logging Rd part of the trail to Six Mile Creek which was 30 ft or so across. There wasn't a way across without getting very wet so I turned back around.

Now the trials I used to get there were wonderful...Rocky, Wounded Knee, Wildcat Technical and Wildcat Technical Alternate( on the way back).

Saw lots of American Beautyberry bushes with berries (not yet purple in August) but I will be going back to see them.

Wounded Knee looks like a good bike trail to try for the beginner.

Lots of traffic on the trails...probably a bit more than I would like, but it was lovely nonetheless!

Great hike nice and easy for beginners. Some nice views of the marsh and the oyster mound!!!

This nature walk has been a tradition in my family for years. I always loved going every year a child and now bringing my children. Bring a good picnic and make a day.

Not a bad little trail

pretty flat but could be a nice running trail

Very well maintained and well marked trail. Quiet except when you are near Old Six Mile Road. Cool even when it 80 plus degrees. Loved the creeks, lake, and waterfalls. Did not like walking into all the spider webs, but hey, it's there turf.

Well-maintained trail, saw a couple frogs and turtles but not much else. Probably prettier in the fall and spring, but hardly any flowers or color. Easy hike with a few hills. Overall, not bad.

good trail. easy to follow. only stepped in water once, but it was on the way back with tired legs. it was a little over grown when I ran it but it has been raining a lot and not much time for NFS to do maintenance

don't make a mistake and not bring bug spray, the mosquito are out!!!

Easy trail if you're in shape. Cool water falls.

First time in Paris mountain park. Trail is very doable for most people. Recommend kids over 7/8. First section is quite steep and challenging but don't worry it gets much much easier after first hour and becomes flat/downhill. Nice trail with streams, trees etc but nothing too exciting. Recommended.

Wonderful way to explore Nature in Greenville.

Went there today, 7/22/18. Could not find the trail for the falls. Checked in at the little store in the campgrounds...they said the trail was closed due to fire damage.

Best part is the section near Main Rd end, beautiful low country marsh

There is NO biking allowed on this trail at all. Please remove that. Other than that it is a very nice trail.

Can actually hike side trails for a total of 13 miles. Bring bug spray and water. Early on weekdays is the best time to avoid crowds. My favorite place in the lowcountry to hike.

Would’ve rated it great but we stayed on the loop specified...was much longer than posted. My daughters app measured 6.5 mile loop.

Woooohoooo Did Deepstep today and there are places that the trail is not so beginner friendly. I would call it a moderate trail

This is a very nice trail for everyone but it isnt a loop. it is mostly paved along the river. There are access points at both ends of the trail.
About a mile in is access to unpaived mountain bike trails I've never been on.
As a Pokemon Go fan I appreciate the fact that there are Pokestops at the beginning and one about a mile in as well as a gym about 3/4 mile in and tons of critters as I call them

The first part was more challenging than expected, but manageable for my 10 year old and us. Recommended, but be prepared for the sulphuric springs loop section by mountain lake.
