There is NO biking allowed on this trail at all. Please remove that. Other than that it is a very nice trail.

Fants Grove is a well marked trail system and trail maps are available at the parking areas. While rated intermediate, its more easy than intermediate and you can maintain speed (visibility is good except in a few places where the undergrowth is trying to choke the trail). There are some good climbs but I never had to go to up my granny gear. Trails are well maintained and flow and makes for great cross country mountain biking. I rode on Thursday evening and was by myself and only came across one hiker but there were signs of heavy horse usage - you have to watch out for the trail muffins. LOL!

The swinging bridge is closed as well as the blue star trail where it intersects north sugar creek

I took my 4 dogs here today and it was completely empty. Trail itself was pretty and a fairly easy hike/walk. We got turned around a bit, it’s not well marked in some places but I just opened up google maps and found the parking lot and headed that direction. Overall, worth a visit!

Good park for being close to a dense urban area.
The track starts with pavement and then becomes a mostly shaded path through woods around a small lake. The track is scenic.

Ashmore has 3 trails: a loop around wattacoo lake and two out and back trails - the yellow which goes by Ashmore falls to oil creek Rd / oil creek falls, and another to a rock face of Green Mtn - Chandler Rock. All 3 trails are covered with wildflowers.

Don't go without plenty of water bc there is none alone this trail.

Nice loop trail with plenty of shade even during the midday. A pretty good thunderstorm 2 days before a ran this trail left a few muddy sections, but nothing you couldn't work around. This loop has some decent little elevation changes throughout to make a trip worth it, oh and the hanging bridge was neat too.

$5 admission

Easy section of the palmetto trail. The trail is easy to follow and is well maintained. Bugs were minimal. We saw a few deer and enjoyed the trip. The trail surface is mostly soft sand, so be prepared. It feels like hiking on the beach. Enjoy 2018

I just did part 1 and into part 2 so I hiked 22 miles it was easy and fun actually. Water was a bit dodgy just stagnate ponds but I didn’t go past the 11 mile mark then I camped and walked back out the next day.

Only went on first loop. Nice moderate trail. There was no one the whole trail. No trash- thank you folks. Saw only one snake , no worries a nice black snake, he’s a good guy. First time using app. I just need to figure out a few things as far as keeping my phone charged first. Enjoyed it.

It wasn’t too intense. We got a little turned around. The frisbee golf trail is the only reason that we knew we were in the correct areas.

We were hoping to see the pitcher plants in bloom. No such luck. There was a side trail to a monument to Mr. Ashmore, which was neat. No real way to get to the waterfall. :(

It close and good

It's very fun for beginner.

So great!

Loved the beautiful view!

Great trail. Muddy

My husband and I went to the walk for the first time, in hopes to find the waterfall, but not only did we not find it, no one even knew it had a waterfall! I would love it if someone who knows where it is would post! I want to come back to see if We can find it??

I started my hike at 7 am not long after sunrise and ended it just before 5 pm. Personally I enjoyed this trail and if you have it in you it makes for a great all day through hike. For it being March 1st I saw plenty of reptiles and amphibians and wildlife in general. This trail has a good mix of terrain and surroundings, it's hard to get bored on this trail. It could be marked better as other people noted but it's good enough and if you use your wits you're bound to find your way. I uploaded some of the pics I took. I will definitely be returning to this one!

I’d like to give this trail a 3.5. It was a great trail and a fun adventure but it was REALLY muddy. But we still had a great time! Our dogs did too!

If your just looking for some exercise, it’s not bad.

Diverse forest types in one hike. My friend and I measured more then 9.7 miles... maybe 10.5 is closer to the mark.
the trail is very well marked but there are areas that are really chewed up by passing horses. It rained 2 days before so you had to watch this areas. Though a bridge is out in 2 spots you can still cross both areas without getting wet feet.

Walked the Haigler Lake Loop yesterday with my family. We all loved it, especially our two kids (ages 9 & 11). The path was mostly wide and flat, made of sand and dirt. It’s a beautiful walk even in winter. We saw only a handful of people.

The trail wasn’t hard at all. It was nice because it was simple and fun to walk. It was hard to see the trails because of all the leaves. It wasn’t maintained very well.

Walked both loops and took just over four hours. With leaves scattered it was difficult at times to locate trail. I was grateful to have this App. Saw four people riding a horses, one deer, one hawk, and a squirrel. Nice walk for elderly as elevation differences are minimum.

Hiked this last weekend. Nice scenery, saw turkey, deer, hawks. Well marked. Still working to clear trees, but a nice hike.
