Lovely hiking trail. Quiet, wooded forest, rocky parts (wear your hiking boots). Not busy at all.
Tip: $5 fee per person.

Walked the Haigler Lake Loop yesterday with my family. We all loved it, especially our two kids (ages 9 & 11). The path was mostly wide and flat, made of sand and dirt. It’s a beautiful walk even in winter. We saw only a handful of people.

Nice to see pretty deep woods trails in a neighborhood.

Beautiful lake. Pretty easy hike, a few roots but otherwise no real challenge. Can be busy on weekends. There are some other great easy trails off of this one and this trail system offers some great scenery and several swinging bridges.

once again NO BIKING. Take down the tag.
but great trail

Parked at the complex, sugar loop is permanently closed, so not sure how anyone has walked it lately? The “guide” that I gave my 5 bucks to gave me a map, I chose Blue Star 7.2 miles, I asked him about 4 times if that was a loop, yes, turns out nope! Not a happy camper.

Great mountain biking trails not too challenging great ride

Rode the new paradise trail. overall good trail. One place had broken glass on the trail. About 3/4 of the way, the rocks get kinda big in the trail. Also some of the small creek bridges are very narrow and a couple others have short and steep ramps. Still, good trail and will ride it again.

A great trail, it will cost you $5 to get in if you aren't a member. Mostly shaded and some water spots available on the way!

Please be aware there is a $5.00 per person fee to get in. The app should be better about noting that

for an easy trail it's a lot of fun.

Would be a nice trail if it didn't smell like raw sewage, maybe all the rain lately but I couldn't even make it a half mile before I had to turn around.

There is a 5 dollar fee for non-members, beautiful place so its worth it just wanted to make people aware.

Great hike with Ryan, Erin, Megan and Justin. It was very warm and humid, but our tribe stayed with it and we enjoyed the hike, the lake and the streams.

Clean trails. Lots of twists and turns to take. A river to see and walk along. Some paved. Some not. Took the dog and kids.

Really great trails. Well maintained and marked. Dog friendly. Not super crowded during cold weather season. LONG though if you don't choose one of the smaller loops. Fun terrain that required some maneuvering (roots, rocks, small hills, etc.) Can't wait to walk it again. $5 per hiker at the entrance, though. They do accept CC.

The trails are well kept. I enjoyed the farm animals(horses, sheep and livestock) I look forward to hiking here in the spring.

Nice trail considering it's in town. I hiked the 7 miles roundtrip from the library to Catawba River. The first 1/2 mile is paved and then it is dirt. Tip.. when you cross the road a little pass the lift station, go right and look for the trail a little bit after the fence on the left. I missed this and ended up walking the sidewalk for a while. There is a nice picnic table at the river.
