6/1/2019. I took four dogs with me hiking today… Parts of the trail are overgrown and one of the bridges is about to collapse… But with that being said the trail itself is not in that bad of shape. It’s very easy to follow, just remember at the road crossings you’re going to almost always go directly across… I say this because again parts are overgrown and on one crossing it was a little bit tricky… Just look straight across and side to side no more than 20 or 30 feet and you will see it. Even though you are supposed to lease your dogs I almost never do, and this was no problem at all! I only ran into one other hiker and one bicyclist the whole day. It is mostly shaded but there is one area where are you sort of zigzag across the meadow and you are in the sun for about 20 minutes. All in all it’s a wonderful trail and one of the closest ones for me to get to… Will definitely be coming back and I have already done this trail maybe 10 or 12 times in the past five years… It’s due for some maintenance but it still a great trail! Also wonderful views along the creek and great for not having to carry water for the pooches… But make sure you bring some for yourself.

This trail just hasn’t been cleared yet for the season I think, but moderate is a correct assessment. Really a nice hike to go on, so much wildlife. It’s more like 5.7 miles, but the scenery changes so often you won’t get bored. Beautiful place to see!

Nice mountain bike trail, steady climbs and good downhills. Not as flowy as FATS. Good place to work on bike handling

on Lick Fork Lake Trail

Good layout, trail needs some TLC as there were several downed trees blocking the trail and the trail near the swimming area didn't have very good trail markers. A lot of potential just needs some maintenance

Visited 12/11/16. To get there, expect mile after mile of single lane gravel-->then dirt roads. Hopefully you will have 4-wheel drive as there are many ruts and difficult terrain. It had also rained quite a lot a few days ago and my journey terminated when I came to a concrete slab (apparently a rudimentary bridge) that was underwater. I never did find the actual trail area, and came away feeling very frustrated. I used 2 different GPS devices to get there: my iPhone 6+ google maps and my new Garmin vehicle GPS.

Great hike. A couple of small water crossing. Fun for all.
