Alltrails shows this as a loop, but the trail disappears at the halfway point, around the old abandoned bridge. I marched on anyway through the woods and finally picked the trail back up at the point where it leaves the creek. But even then there were parts of the trail overgrown and hard to find.

What a beautiful gem about 20 minutes from greenwood. I've only hiked about 4 miles, can't wait to check out the rest!

very nice single track that very much lives up to it's moderate rating, well maintained with a fairly smooth ride I must admit I only biked 5 miles but I really liked what the trail had to offer. Will definitely be back after hunting season to take in all this system has to give.

Fast, come to the trail in good shape to experience the flow. The faster you go the more it grows on you. There are two forest service water facilities. One at Parson's Mountain Lake and the other at Fell Hunt Camp. Fell has a 3$ fee. Locals park at NE corner at a small parking area, (no facilities).( https://goo.gl/maps/RNAzFWaeMCs ) Copy, paste the link in google maps. Trail is well maintained, very hard and fast. Hills are typical for this part of South Carolina, mainly short and steep. Most of the area is forested in mature pine or majestic hardwood, very pretty area.

great area to hike or bike. hiked around 5 miles on a very nice trail. the united states largest hickory tree is located here. we didnt see a single person the whole day out. we hiked around 6 miles on a cold day with our kids. had an awesome day. be weary of wild hogs. we ran into an entire pack of them. definitely a tense moment. but they left us alone.

Great day of mountain bike riding. Covered a fair amount of the trail on an incredibly hot day...but still a great ride. Great single track with a good variation of up and down sections. This is a multiple use trail...keep an eye open for horses, hikers and mountain bikes. If you park at the Fell Camp Natl Park, there is a $3/ per car day use fee. There is a camp attendant and he is 'persistant'!
