Excellent Trail for being one of the best access points into the National Park...

Great easy walk to start our morning.

Easy hike with a beautiful view at the end. It was super dry when we went and SO hot. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

Fun and easy trail.

Nice trail. Slick when wet. Hiked the trail down several times. There is a bus stop on centerline road at the trailhead so we took the trail to Cinnamon Bay Campground (where we were staying) to save on taxi fares. Side trip up to American Hill worth the effort.

I did this trail hike/walk a little over a year ago, and I still have nostalgia for it on a regular. Super easy trail that leads to a paradise!! I wore flip flops to get there and it didn't even phase me, or my feet. Make sure you take a towel and your snorkeling gear, and plan to stay on that beach at least an hour or two! So you might wanna pack a light snack, too. So beautiful!! Can't wait to visit here again someday.

Trail is more moderate if taken from Reef Bay trail.
Beach mildly Rocky but nice. Parking available if driving from Coral Bay. Few people.

This trail is used to primarily access the beach which is beautiful and a little rocky.
It's best use is to continue on past the sandy beach along a rocky portion of the beach to access the Ram Head trail. Ram Head has spectacular views.

Old sugar plantation trail. Narrow and slippery if wet. Views sporadic as is heavily wooded. Fairly steep. Great exercise.

Hiked to Solomon and Honeymoon Beach for swimming and snorkeling. Awesome area.

Self-guided tour of historic ruins. Great history. Great views of BVI. Watch for hermit crabs crawling through the woods on way to ruins - they were everywhere the day we went.

Water not as clear as hoped for snorkeling. Saw turtle, but not much else.

Easy, quick trail to top of hill. Windmill ruins. Saw a couple iguanas.

Great trail that never gets old. Fantastic views of the water and other islands, as well as wildlife and vegetation. Several different options along the way, I usually choose Honeymoon and then return via the upper lind trail and look out over cruz bay!

This trail goes along the shore from the Annaberg historic site to Waterlemon Bay

Thursday, December 27, 2012

Easy family-friendly hike with excellent views of Cruz Bay from the lookout. Watch out for hermit crabs! It's a pretty hot hike during the summer, but it just makes the beach more refreshing!

This trail is on the east end of St. John. It is an easy walk mostly along a level beach. There are many ruins in the area that are very interesting. You also get many view of Tortola and other BVIs

We used this trail to get to Watermelon Bay so we could snorkel in the Bay and out to Watermelon Cay. The snorkeling was magnificent.

By far one of the most beautiful places I've ever heard the pleasure of visiting and hiking. I got engaged at the far left end of Salomon Beach so this trail will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope to someday get back here and encourage anyone who gets the opportunity to make a visit, you won't regret it.
