Unmaintained, overgrown, and so many ticks.

Kids enjoyed the ponds. End of trail near the beaver dam was a little difficult for the kids to get through.

Very nice. Very quite on a Monday morning. trails are left wild and not well marked but easy to follow. Loved it. Will Definatly come back often

Nice place, especially if you have your dogs. I enjoyed it especially the water.

Nice trail, beautiful views of water and streams. Not well marked

Warning: hunting on this land until May 31. The trail has signs warning of hunting and requiring the wearing orange until the end of May.

This is a nice little trail. I suggest parking on 165 at the Frosty Hollow pond area and taking Shelter trail all the way to Ben Utter. You get to pass through the old camping cabins and Steppingstone falls becomes a reward for a 5.5 mile journey through Arcadia. Round trip is a nice almost 12 miles. Great way to spend a day in the woods.

Beautiful woods and ponds. If you follow the suggested itinerary counterclockwise, when arriving near Tarbox Pond it seems to go off-trail, or the trails are no longer maintained, I don't know. I took the blue trail that stays away from Tarbox Pond and I reconnected with the suggested itinerary further south.

start hike from Falls River rd. because they closed the gate to the entrance road... you have to walk a mile and a half just to get to the trail now... on a long dirt road.. not fun.

Haven't seen the place in 20 years, still beautiful as ever!

Nice easy trail.

would not consider this moderate, but nice outshoots for the lake.

I only had one hour and didn’t complete the hike but I’ve already made plans to come back. Beautiful trail by the river.

Beautiful trail!!

Absolutely beautiful views. Trails are well kept and well marked. Very little incline. There are several trails that can be connected for longer hikes.

awesome trail on a beautiful day 50 degrees in Jan

I came in from Carrs Pond rd, near Middle rd. Its kind of marked...lol. Once I arrived at to the pond, I just walked the perimeter. I was a beautiful, wide open trail. Though it not well marked, Its still easy to get around, and was beautiful on a snowy day.

This might be my favorite trail. I love it.

I walked the Tillinghast pond loop. There was a fresh layer of snow on the ground which made for a beautiful hike! The trails are very easily marked.

We took this trail to extend Coney Trail and won't do it again unless it is widened. There is absolutely no way to do this trail without constantly brushing up against saplings and low bushes. If it had been summer time we would have been glistening with ticks.

This trail has a few blown down trees in the way. It also has been flooded in one spot and a little difficult to get around and pick the trail up again especially if you're not in decent physical shape.

Here's what is good about the trail: it is mostly well kept, quiet, we didn't run across a single other person on the trail, and you won't likely see loose dogs running around.

We use the log road trail to vomplete the loop in stead of using the road. However I would not use that trail again becsuse it isn't well kept and chances of tivks are good.

Great trail. Don't forget blaze orange during hunting stream. Loved the beaver dam.

Beautiful hiking area. Well marked diverse trails. Dogs should be on leash. Love dogs but not the ones that jump on you and almost knock you to the ground. Also, they chase wildlife.

I love this place so much! It always offers up a new sight or sound everytime I go there.

Love this place. can't wait to go back and explore some more.

Beautiful and easy with a bit of climbing some rocks along the way. The only way it could be better is if it looped.

Nice loop with wood and field scapes. Narrow paths with little impact on the surrounding area. Decently marked trails and maps! Unfortunately, due to a damn, there is a part of the trail that has been partially submerged near the brook. Overall, some very beautiful parts and decent inclines.

great well-marked trail. different scenery from open fields, ponds, streams, dense pine.
