Clearly marked trails with maps posted. A nice short loop with well packed trail, many tree roots and rocks, although not technical overall. Remained shaded most of the run and few deer flies despite their prevalence nearby in swampy areas.

Very pretty and shady on a hot day. The back of the yellow trail is narrow and a little confusing in spots where blaze is sometimes two yellow and sometimes one yellow. Worth wearing boots if it’s been raining or if you tend to roll an ankle in runners, it’s not always easy to see the roots and rocks because of the overgrowth.

Keep the dogs on leash—there are deer here. Deer Hunting allowed in season, some signs note that dogs are not allowed mid Sept-mid January.

Cut through the woods before the beach if you’re trying to trail run or walk with purpose, I always skip the beach part unless I’m just strolling. The briars get a bit crazy on the back side of the loop but I do enjoy the trail.

Very well marked trails, options for length. Almost completely shaded for majority of path. Leads down to narrow river-I had a great swim. There’s a little spit of sand you could rest and picnic at end. Bathrooms clean, trails well maintained. Can be a tad muddy so be mindful of choosing wisely after a pretty good rain storm. Well trafficked areas, felt safe-lots it dog walkers and happy doggies. Surrounded by lush forestry and ferns. In muddy areas, many pallets constructed and set up to make traversing it easy. No issues with bugs or animals. And parking for at least ten cars! Easy breezy trail.

The path was narrows way too much and wasn’t a clear loop. The beach has way too many shells to walk at a good pace.

A little bit of everything!

I hiked this trail for the 100000000 time today. It never gets old. One thing for sure. Its best when its been dry for a long time. There are allot of small streams that run along the trails, and the trails stay wet for a while. Its just one of those trails that stay wet for a while. Still really nice.

nice trail system in the early stages of development still. convenient trail maps along the way and bridges to cross over mud/water. seen deer, owls and other wildlife.

I walk this trail often. It is well marked and very clean. Map stations are also along the trails. Lots to see. Wear safety colors.

I walk this trail allot and love it. if you dont want to walk on the pebble beach, before you get to the wTer where the benches are, look to your left. there is a small trail that winds through the woods. At the end go rt, and you will be heading to the point. Might see some seals there.

Beautiful day and a well kept trail. We ventured out with the kids, including a 3 year old, and we all enjoyed the hike. There was some mud, and some hunters, but watching the birds at the beach, passing the falls, and searching for the sheep pen made for a fantastic morning. The trail was a bit busy on the way back, but if you go early, it’s a quiet hike.

ventured off the main path to the trail on the side which is really nice. Easy walk to beach.

Wonderful walk with the dog.

Lovely! Beautifully maintained and cared for.

Beautiful spot! Dog friendly but beach is hard to walk on. A lot of sharp shells for dogs pads. Bummer cuz it's a great spot!

I love the location. A lot of other hikers and children. Which is cool. But sometimes you just wanna get away from everyone. That won't happen on the main trails. But the side trails are pretty quiet. Will go again!

Great adventure for the whole family. Easy for kids. Best of both worlds. Collect shells, Catch low tide and watch the seals basking in the sun and playing in the ocean. We saw around 60 seals. Bring your binoculars to get a closer view. I have 1 complaint. We brought our dog with us for the adventure, which he loved. Maybe they could provide a pet waste bag station at the start of the trail and a disposal barrel midway down the trail and just before you enter the shore. I think it would help with people cleaning up after their pets.
