Little icy but nothing you can’t get around. I will definitely come back in the summer.

wonderful way to decompress from stressful life. The trail is deep into the woods where it is so very quiet; a place to reflect and heal. Easy walking to enjoy the scenery. Anytime life throws me a curveball I am going back to this marvellous place to knock the mess out of the park. Enjoy your trip.

This trail started off nice but once you hit the main road it’s a disaster. After turning left over the bridge, you have to go behind a series of buildings with trash everywhere, cut through the Shaw’s parking lot, then find the path again. The trail only goes for a short time after that, then you are back on the road for the rest of the way. Pawtuxet village is beautiful but I wasn’t planning on walking through it on the hike. Probably wont do again. Or if I do, I’ll turn around at the 1st bridge.

This was a nice trail, as others have said it was very well marked and kept up nicely. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because it was kind of boring, not too much to see along the way. We went in February so it was very quiet, just make sure you wear your orange! Dogs allowed but must be kept on leashes.

We walked this trail with an infant in a hiking backpack in February and it was great. Well maintained, easy walking and very pretty. It looks like some spots will be muddy in warmer tempuratures.

Some parts are ok. I didn't care for the half mile of roads with traffic.

What a great trail. As long as it’s not wet out this trail is great. I followed the gps directions given from above and it starts on a different trail head. Just follow the yellow markers and when you get to the road just keep running down it, you’ll see the yellow markers again. The trail is very runnable and if you do plan on running you’ll spend most of your time running. There are a few technical areas and some short but aggressive inclines. The trail is follows by a few different lakes and is very scenic. I would recommend this trail for hikers, runners, even family outings. A great little spot. Happy running, Ultra Ryan

The trail was pretty wet in several places. Also we had to skirt around several downed trees. This app is great for keeping you on the trail!

Great trail for the beach goers. I hiked it in Dec. and had it almost to myself.

It’s a beautiful trail. Rocky, but it helped today because it was very muddy. The trails weren’t marked very well. On the app it says they’re red. While walking a majority of the “marked” trails brought me to people’s driveways, or back yards. While following “red trails” it would then go from red, to green, to yellow, to black, to pink, to blue which made it very confusing and I got lost quite a few times. I do like an adventure, but I would not recommend bringing kids for the moderate portion of the trails. My dog did do fine.

short, easy trail with decently even elevation. Nice hay field opening in the middle. Good for a quick loop, nice view of the river.

The moraine trail is where the edge of the melting glacier (ice age) left behind large deposits of silt, rock and gravel from Long Island New York to Narragansett RI. The ridge you walk along overlooks the Atlantic ocean and ponds. There is an extensive understory of dense Mountain Laurel that is absolutely beautiful to walk through in the Spring. The view when the leaves are not blocking the view is spectacular.

I like this hike but their is a shooting range near the far end of the loop. We were hiking on a Sunday morning and looking for a quite peaceful hike. We heard gun shots the whole time. It caused us a little bit of anxiety. If it were quite I would give this trail 4 stars. It’s a relatively easy hike, the brook in very nice. It would definitely be nicer in another season. We hiked it in February. I will come back to give it another try.

The Weetamoo / Pardon Gray Preserve is a delightful, quiet walk through a quintessential New England forest. There are many stands of Laurel (and even a tunnel) as well as hundreds of Holly trees and bushes though the dominant trees are oak and maple. Remnants of a water powered mill remind us of our changing needs. I think non-hikers might change their ways if they spent a couple of hours on this beautiful 5 mile lollipop loop. The directions to the parking lot bring you to the little 5 car lot at the north end but the 16 car lot at the south end is more convenient.

Easy hike through fields and wooded paths. Many interesting places to stop along the way. The only downside is it’s more used during summer so go expecting to see many other people. Or go in winter when it’s just you and glorious nature.

This loop trail is mostly wooded with a three acre meadow and one acre hayfield. Excellent water views from an elevated trail as well as foot paths to overlooks. An open wooded area to the right as your walking has a half circle ,stone wall that multiple people may sit on to enjoy the view. Love this trail all seasons but in the summer you might have a harder time finding water views.
