Trail is not one to get going fast. There are dozens of road crossings with stop signs for the trail traffic. Also, many of the walkers will walk strollers 2 abreast with no concern for approaching traffic. Even bikers will take up the whole trail and not clear until you call, "on your left. "

Favorite place to walk!!! The views are amazing!!!! I go a few times a week. Really enjoy it, and relaxing.

I did enjoy this trail but it was not clearly marked at beginning so I needed this app to get onto the trail. Also, read the signs when parking, we parked next to parked cars and missed the sign for trailer parking. Got an $89 parking ticket.

Beautiful views, not as busy as I thought it would be. Peaceful

The paved trail has been extended and is now more or less a loop from the parking area. There is beach access too, although I’ve never seen too many people on the beach.

Warblers and sea birds so come early and bring your binoculars! Also excellent place for those who like to watch butterflies. Gorgeous sea views top it off.

Cut through the woods before the beach if you’re trying to trail run or walk with purpose, I always skip the beach part unless I’m just strolling. The briars get a bit crazy on the back side of the loop but I do enjoy the trail.

Make sure to slip up the dunes at the end of the point to see the remains of Fort Mansfield.

Traveling over rocks of various sizes got old pretty quick. Kind of same view over and over - not very interesting. Rodman’s Hollow was much better.

Disappointing this morning. I tried to take my kids here and the trails are very overgrown. We had to turn around part way through the blue loop.

This is by far the most beautiful bike trail I have explored. The views are outstanding. My favorite so far!

I love this spot! A beautiful trail that great for anyone. Gorgeous views!

The only (slight) complaint I have is that the signage could be a lot better. Otherwise, had a great time on this trail! There is a little bit of everything - hills, rocks, beautiful pond views, a few mucky spots (my hiking poles came in handy in a couple of places), lots of ferns, some pretty mountain laurel in bloom. I used insect repellent and didn't find it buggy at all, which surprised me on a nice warm day like this. Only explored the blue trail this time, but will come back another day to hike the yellow.

Beautiful views and well kept trails with access to the ocean and benches along the way if to take in the view.

Please wear long pants, hiking boots, long sleeves, and a hat to protect from ticks; dressed appropriately and two buggers still tried to use me as a food source.

Easy walk with beautiful views all along the coast.

One of the best trails in the area in my opinion. Wonderful cliffs in the middle of the hike. Couple nice views of Beach Pong. Can get a bit buggy in the middle of the summer so bring DEET.

Easy walk beautiful views

Very peaceful and good walk .

What a beautiful place this is! Nicely maintained trails with amazing ocean views (there are views all around directly from the trail as well as several observation platforms). SO MANY birds! I'm not a bird watcher, but I saw birds here I've never seen elsewhere in the state. The only drawbacks I can mention are that it was fairly busy, LOTS of poison ivy (so stay on the trail), and others have mentioned ticks (though I didn't encounter any). This was my first walk through a Wildlife Refuge; I think I'll now seek them out!

Kids enjoyed the ponds. End of trail near the beaver dam was a little difficult for the kids to get through.

The path was narrows way too much and wasn’t a clear loop. The beach has way too many shells to walk at a good pace.

nice woodsy trail. the entire thing was in the shade. bugs were not too bad. there was also a decent amount of rock hopping and some substantial up and down. ill go back.

Very nice. Very quite on a Monday morning. trails are left wild and not well marked but easy to follow. Loved it. Will Definatly come back often
