Trail was ok. Gave it a 3 due to mass confusion. Best to follow map or you will stray. Goes through portions of neighborhood and along the road of twelfth ave. Best to start this trek at the Hy-vee on 12th Ave for those that need to park. Other than that, great exercise.

Running

It was nice to run in the shade. The trail is paved and flat. There are some wooden bridges, which can be slick with the dew. Once the trail opened up to the road it was tricky to find the continuation, but we managed to see the leaning white sign. Even though it says it’s a left, just follow the bend of the road and then take a right turn onto 22-358, and right onto N Boyle Dr.

Random walk through the Market Commons area. Really felt like I was in an advertisement for living here. Went through the park, sports complex, lake and new residential homes. Highlight of the trip was the A10 in the Warbird memorial.

Walk was great! We started at Freedom Park and did the trail both ways. Came back and walked around freedom park also. Around 6.6 miles in total for us. The trail was shady 90% of the time. Was muddy here and there and there are places where the creek can flood which is why it was muddy in some places. Very popular trail and would be safe to run or walk alone. Cons: There is a part where you have to cross traffic on a cross walk. Also some loiterers were on the trail closer to the urban side. Can make it a little uncomfortable for a single female but there are plenty of people on the trail working out so you don’t feel unsafe. There is a target right off the trail which has a Starbucks in it. For a mid-walk refreshing drink.

Overgrown trail not maintained the greatest. Water views virtually impossible because of the tall overgrowth on both sides of trail. We were the only ones on it which was nice. Worst part was non-stop gun shooting somewhere nearby. Shooting range? People blasting guns for no reason. Not hunting season. Ruined the peacefullness.

It’s essentially a path around a playground and field, adjacent to the Greater Plymouth Community Center. As such, it’s suited to kids and dog-walking, but if you’re looking for a more exciting trail, diverse terrain, or views, try the nearby Harriet Weatherill Park.

I am a local so I love this part of the city. It is a nice walk that takes you right to the park and through historic downtown. Be careful walking there after the bars close!

The trail itself looks well-kept however it says on AllTrails that dogs are allowed. But when you start the trail there’s a sign says no dogs allowed. Wasted a trip.

Not very well marked. Veered off path several times but still a nice little walk. Mostly in shade so not that hot.

No shadeOver grown

Trail by the stream and statue is very short. Part of it is blocked by a tree and is overgrown or maybe this is the end? There is no signage. Overall, the trail is more of a greenway—often next to a road and through residential areas. Still a peaceful walk on the path.

This is a nice paved trail which I’m usually not a fan of but I had a double strolled today and a friends kids so it worked out perfect. It has a sewer smell in certain areas and has trash in the creek in some spots but your in the city so a little is to be expected. The trail continues past where this app marks it complete but I didn’t continue I turned around. It was wet and muddy in spots but nothing major. The trail is about half and half shaded so it was nice to get a break from the sun. I love any trail that has water flowing with it and it was nice to see the city in the background also. All in all it was nice and I’ll be back.

This is an urban walk that has virtually no art and even less culture. Not sure how it even made it into the Alltrails list. We walked back to the start along different streets that were a little better. The indicated route was filled with car repair shops, derelict properties, homeless people, and urban blight. To call it an arts and culture trail is aspirational at best.

This is an urban trail that is flat. There's lots of noise from street traffic and the highway, which make it a very unpleasant walk. However, it is a historic area where a civil war battle took place and where the Catawba Railroad ran. If that's of interest to you, then go at least once to increase your understanding of local history.

I actually did my own custom city “trail” and went on a approx. 3 mile loop of Las Vegas Blvd. past all the main attractions on the strip.
