Way too many unnecessary switchbacks and waterfalls were not impressive

View was okay. Nothing too impressive. Easy 10 minute trail

This trail is a workout, with a steep incline which lasts for about a mile if you do both segments back to back. Be warned, the trail has ATV tracks which follow the trail for some time, but eventually leave the trail. If you wish to stay on the trail and have gone straight up the mountain, go right through the clearing at the top of the hill. This part of the trail very overgrown, but is home to many tiny frogs and lovely wildflowers. Lots of briars, wear long pants if possible.

beautiful hike. The hike up was fairly intense for this beginner.

Ran from the parking area near Wellsboro. There are bathrooms, always a plus. Ran 6 1/2 miles out, then turned around (ran the Conquer the Canyon half marathon). More bathrooms about 3 miles out. Trail is ride and in great shape. Saw a bald eagle in a tree over the creek. There were a lot of hungry horse flies, make sure you bring the bug repellent.

I would give this 3.5 but it won’t let me lol. Nice view at the top and of the river at the bottom, definitely steep for the first half coming back up and then more manageable. Towards the top of the return half there’s a view point a bit off the path that is well worth checking out of the valley.

Well maintained trail, consisted of gravel/dirt path, and wood steps/planks. Multiple rest benches. A little rocky and exposed roots in some places. Beautiful scenery. Just challenging enough on the way up to get a good workout in.

Nice trail and very well taken care of, just a few muddy spots. Plenty of benches for a rest along the way. Going down is no problem, a tad bit steep in some places so just go slow. Going back up is definitely more tiring as it is all uphill. But it’s definitely worth it to hike all the way.

Nice out-and-back trail in a lovely (and extremely clean) park. The stairs and planks are helpful, but definitely go slowly if it's rained recently. Even in boots with good treads, I slipped several times as the boards were super slick.

My 3 grandkids (ages 11, 10 and 8) and I hiked the Outlook Trail today, easy trail, a tad steep in one area but basically easy for someone in shape. Gorgeous views. I usually hike the high peaks in the ADK but will return to this area frequently because I was impressed by the maintenance of this trail. This was my first real hike on uneven ground after a TKR six months ago and I had no problems whatsoever! We’ll be back to do the Turkey Path Trail down to the gorge — it started raining and other hikers said it was muddy and slippery in spots. We decided to reschedule that hike.

A nice, easy stroll along the lake. Recent heavy rains have washed out most of the areas where drainage is channeled into the lake: watch your step!

Very short, easy hike. Leads to a lovely view. Includes a bench if you would like to sit a relax for a bit too.

A fun day first into Wellsboro for the Laurel Festival craft vendors on the square found some things both there and shopping on the Main Street love this little town. Next our bike ride on Pine Creek Trail it was a good ride a little overcast but warm met up with some nice people and nice old man with a telescope focused on baby eagle that he shared with us overall really fun weekend Happy Father's Day Mike I love you!

Hiked north to south, 16 miles with two overnights. Loved the trail. Nowhere near as rocky as some PA trails and tons of streams everywhere makes watering the humans and dogs easy. Some sections were overgrown with lots of big trees down and it was definitely muddy in many places. Pine Creek Outfitters shuttled our car for us. Great trip.
