Great views, the trail was more rocky than expected, trail is well marked for the most part. I was very happy to have this app as a guide. The trail is well maintained, easy walk. Perfect for a beginner.

My family and I did the Indian Trail loop. It was a good trail and good for all ages. Rocky for most of the trail so at times we had to take it slow. There was a great view point half way through. I highly recommend. We parked in Parking Lot 2 but you can drive further past the paved parking lot to Lot 4.

If you like ticks and a rocky path, this the trail for you. I understand the few other reviews that say this is unmarked... the trail was widely cleared and easy to follow on the southern portion. So if you consider this an in and out trail instead of a loop, you can have a good time..
When you arrive, take the path to the left and it is mostly flat. When you come to sign for the shortcut, take it to the right. You’ll end up at the lake with a nice view. We turned back from there, as the path got grassy and we found five ticks after just a few yards.
We originally made the mistake of tying to follow the loop marked on this all trails map, but ended up walking through some tall grasses and muddy conditions. Found about 20 ticks each and decided to turn back. Can’t vouch for conditions on what is marked to be the north part of the “loop”, but I included a photo of what appears to be the steep hike back up the hill through the power lines.
Was hoping for rhododendrons as it is there first week of June, but the plants look more like laurel.

Saw 4 people total on this trail on a Sunday afternoon. Felt very remote. No markers. The app was very useful although the online map was not always very precise. We loved the part towards the end with the huge rhododendrons. It must be gorgeous when they are in bloom. I would recommend to do the loop in the other direction because of the very steep incline at the end.

Great, lots of different trails. but can every one take out what you bring in! My grandson and I collected a bag of garbage on our trail hike. www.carbonfootprint.com

awesome trail, great view, lots of rocks, perfect for PA prep for the AT.

Although tricky at times, this was an easy, very scenic hike. Beware, very few markers to track the trail, but it added to the adventure. Definitely will go again in Spring.

This trail was great to do for me in the winter. If you feel like going on a scenic walk that isn't a complete breeze this is perfect. In the summer I would probably want much more of a challenge. Suggestion: go right before sunset because when you get back to camel top it is beautiful!

The views at the #2 parking lot we're just as impressive as the lookout on this trail. Trail markings we're adequate but not great considering the trail traversed many rocky areas and fallen leaves. Many awesome rock and boulder formations along the route.

Hiked it today with my 9 and 11 year olds. Easy short hike with a pretty view midway. We enjoyed the rocky trail.

This was not at all a hike, but a guided slow walk, most of which is on a wooden boardwalk through the bog. It was beautiful and very informative. I would recommend if in the area.

I will never attempt this hike again. There are no markers or signs, and it was very difficult to follow the online map, as it was not always accurate and it often led us into deep forest with no visible trail. We got extremely lost several times since there were no markers or signs to help us. This did not seem well maintained, and most of the trail was just a multi-purpose ATV road that did not seem to be meant for hiking.

This was a great trail to do with our 4 sons. There are great inclines and the scenery is gorgeous. I can't wait to do it again in the fall.

Easy guided trail. You must sign up and pay the fee as you can only walk the bog with a tour guide. They have certain days and times during the year allocated, which you can find on their website. Truly beautiful and biologically diverse. Our guide was informative and thorough.

Great hike in the winter. Quiet and didn't see a soul. The trail thru Rhododendron was magnificent and peaceful. The last mile is intense gaining 500 ft elevation.

A bit underwhelming if you're expecting a nice, quick challenge. My advice would be to travel an extra 8ish miles to nearby Mount Tammany for more of an incline and in my opinion, better views. If you do insist on hiking this trail, rest assured it is well-marked; also, we found the quickest way to get there was by following "Rim Road, Stroudsburg" in the GPS.

Easy hike until the last uphill aerobic stretch. The most beautiful swamp I have ever come across with some great vistas. I would recommend.

nice walk and great for biking also.
deep lake is nice to swim in as well .

The lake is a beautiful destination. Rocky trails, but we enjoyed it. Not well marked so use the app to help. Basically taking rights will get you to the lake when there is splits in the roadThere is a short cut to the right too that brings you to the edge of the lake that is marked.

Amazing views. Not difficult, my 8 yr old completed without any issues. Trail was rocky for the most part. Was a little nervous seeing the warning for the healthy amount of rattle snakes but luckily we didn't see any. Plan to go back to do the other tails when the leaves are changing.

Great place! This trail was easy, well marked and maintained. Stunning views!

We had a tour booked through a school group. It's an interesting sight if you are interested in different ecosystems. They explain the difference between a bog and a swamp as far as the chemicals in the water and the types of things that are able to grow there. There are wooden pathways built over the bog so it's not so much of a hike, it's more like an easy walk.

It is closed to the general public and only open for tours on certain dates and times. We were disappointed we couldn't walk it when we went Saturday. There is also a fee. Finally the address given is wrong too. It is located on Cherry Lane. I uploaded a picture of the info.

I'm not a hiker as much as a walker. This was a fun and very pretty trail with a few difficult rocky spots. Made a nice change of pace from the very flat area I live in!

Best place to park is in Lot 4. Trailhead is across the road. This is not a difficult trail in terms of it being strenuous, but it is somewhat difficult in terms of terrain. Very rocky trail for most of the hike. Great views.

Pretty easy train unless you take the shortcut from the parking lot, straight up the waterfalls! Very fun.

Very good views of the adjacent areas. The trails are a good mix of soft dirt and rocks. Plus the light snow covering made the hike a little more interesting because of the various critter tracks. Many of the tracks went perpendicular to the trail, except one set of small paw prints looked like they followed most of the snow covered trail. Visibility was fair and the weather was cool with a little wind. I'm planning to return on a day when the sky is clear so that I can take panoramic photos of the Delaware Water Gap.
