One of my favorite trails to bike with my family!!

as a new hiker it was hard to keep to the trail. I keep trying to do the loop but always end up turning back.

Nice trail for a afternoon walk. we did not do whole loop. Trail leads to Shank park. which is nice for kids.

My husband and I have walked the dyke many times and enjoy it. We've also written our bikes up there. It's good for beginners because it's even and level and paved

I will definitely do this again but I can tell why almost every review says you'll get lost. It is maybe one of the worst blazed trail I have ever been and is the worst around the baseball fields. But I loved the hike and the challenging hills. When the elevation says it's going to go up just be ready to climb.

I like that the trail branches in so many directions so you switch up your route often. The trails are paved so it's good for when other trails get muddy or if you have a stroller. I would of gave it more stars but it can get kind of crowded in the summer.

Rails to trails type. Not really in the woods too much if you are into that. Good for nice leisurely walk along a river if you are into that.

Beautiful scenery and great paths to run on. Can’t wait to see it in the spring/summer.

Great hike. Cold, but sunny day.

Brought a friend who has never been backpacking for a quick weekend trip and this route worked well. We parked at the north lot and arrived relatively late in the evening but there was a good place to set up camp right at the beginning so it worked out. Water was low but there was still plenty of water available. Relatively easy hiking. Great for new backpackers and a weekend trip.

with the recent snow and rain the falls looked great, just made for a very slippery, muddy and sometimes treacherous hike on the rocks. took the scenic route as well. went up past the falls, crossed on some dry rocks and went back down the other side. was a fun time.

Fun hike but trail not marked well, so when your hiking keep your eyes out the trail markers or you’ll get on the wrong trail fast.

Absolutely beautiful and amazing. Walking the trails, bird watching or fishing.

Great, well-maintained flat gravel trail. I hiked from the trailhead on Rt. 230 to the intersection of Rt. 743 and back, but you can go farther until it merges with a trail in Lebanon County.

Very maintained trail ! Very easy walking out and back and very nice views. If you wanted to nice path for riding bikes from south fork to mineral point.

A nice trail in an urban park. Some parts are surprisingly secluded from the city. However, the trail is very confusing and could use more signs for navigation.

Didn’t like walking roads with no berm.

I went in mid February on an unusually warm day. Lots of people, espically joggers. Trail and historial monuments/places were poorly marked, i believe this is because I went during the off season. Overall though it was nice and relaxing

Good path for a run while in the area.

I went here for a dayhike in 2016. Easy walking, close to city.

This was a great hike. Views are absolutely spectacular. Trails are poorly marked though.

I do all kinds of stuff at this park but my favorite thing is the bike trail. It is a bike trail that many people will find difficult because of the hills; however, if you like a challenge and beautiful scenery this trail is for you.

It’s a fun trail but if I was inexperienced or doing a bike trail with a bunch of new to bike riding children I would do something else like a rails to trails only because of the hills.

The trail is well kept and mostly paved with a small section being on a back road and a main road that had a wide berm. My bike has skinny road tires on it and I can use them on this trail.

It took me about 6 hours to do this trail in the snow with poor weather conditions.

When you arrive in the parking lot with GPS walk under the blockade that prevents motorized vehicles from being on the path. Once your on that path you will come to a sign that points to the right that says Cow Run. Follow the sign until it comes to a T with a road. Go left until you come to the small cabins. To do the trail clockwise look between the restrooms and the woodpile lean to for the yellowish/orange markings on the trees.

It’s a *very* well marked trail once you find it and get on it. I had trouble finding the beginning of the trail near the restrooms and lean to.

There are some fun bridges along with beautiful scenery and a creek on this trail. I really enjoyed it.

If you begin at the kayak launch and head towards the woods, the river walk is quite breathtaking, especially during Fall. Moderate hike, as you can go off-the-trail to the train tracks which leads to a gorgeous view near the bridge.

Great place to hike! Very close by..awesome views. Hidden gem

good for after work rides, fun at night.

Great trail, but people living at North end at Newport Commons should be embarrassed. Do they just throw trash off their balconies? Trail is well maintained except for that section.

Beautiful hike, and at this time of the year, the lake is still a little frozen, so it made for some unique scenery.

Lots of trails explore! Very dog friendly. you can swim in the creek in the summer (as can your dog).
