Such an interesting trail, with bridges, steps, and different paths. It is in a pretty neighborhood, too! Muddy, so bring sneakers, but didn’t get any cuts and bruises as the other traveler, so can’t speak to that. Was in August.

Very nice suburban park offering plenty of trails with a nice variety of scenery. Easy to forget you are close to the city in this park.

Great for families

love this park... period.

Very nice scenery some trails aren’t maintained lots of water views.... definitely listen to the chick above like theirs so many gnats KEEP UR MOUTH SHUT!!!!! There’s no open way to get down to the creek.... I’ll come back in the fall

Modified the loop here a little on our way down when we saw some switch backs and thought "eh why not." Kind of treacherous with little ones. The footing is all shale and can be quite slippy but if you take your time, you'll be fine. Went when the leaves were bare and aside from the lower part of the trail it wasn't the most exciting hike, but nice for being right in the middle of the city.

This trail is more like a walk through the woods than a hike...but what a walk it is. You are almost guaranteed to see deer, alot of deer! You may also come across horse back riders. I recomend this trail for families.

Great dog friendly park! There's even a fenced in dog area behind the Observatory on top of the hill. There's also a beautiful clearing down at the bottom of the park with a stone pavilion. Quality city park best for quick trips.

I don’t know if it was the day or time of day we came but the trail was FULL of bugs! And it definitely was not an “easy” trail. There were a lot of hills, uneven terrain, and fallen trees to climb over. Some of the trails were very narrow and you could barely walk them. I will probably try a different trail at the park but this one was not good.

Lost my dogs tags on the blue trail...please keep an eye out for them!! The tag would have a rubber ducky and "Garth" on it. Thank you!!!

many trails are well marked. maps are also usually available in the mailbox by the log cabin. pressed dirt trails. nice for hiking, running, and biking.

Trails are short but have some steep areas. Some trails are rather narrow, but others are wide and paved with gravel. Good wildlife viewing; I saw ground hog, deer, Canada geese, and turtles, among the more common wildlife. Reserve consists entirely of reverting farmland, so do not expect mature woods. Overall, not bad considering the reserve's suburban setting.

very nice park. Terrain is a little rough in spots but still navigable.

Great place to run or ride your bike around the loop. There are great trails off of the loop as well!

we did 4 different trails and went up around the back of the wave pool. it was a beautiful day and the trails good. One place on the orange trail had a tree down but it was negotiable. Sweet hike.

My family and I have done this loop so many times and it is always pleasant. It also works well to park at one end of the park and walk into Oakland for a museum visit or to sit on the Plaza.

No surprises on this loop.

nice, very short trail. not sure you could squeeze a mile out of it no matter how many times u cut off to another trail. bit its nice if you have a dog and are looking for a short walk in the woods

5 stars as an easy and safe way to bike/walk commute downtown. But I wouldn't recommend coming here specifically to see the trail. Paved, not very interesting.

This is NOT a stroller friendly trail! omg someone wrote that and i had a hard time. me and my kids fell down a hill but a nice man helped us out. we didnt get hurt and had fun. nice trail though! i will go back with the baby carrier.

Although it's rated "easy" this is a beautiful trail for all seasons. The grassy meadows surrounding the pond provide a wonderful introduction to the wooded trails that lay beyond.
Take note that the upper trails cross a private paved driveway.
Pine Hollow Trail is my favorite~
