Couldn’t find the trail where the map said it was. Also, the trail-like path I did see was unkept and I didn’t want to walk down it to explore.

It was nice and quiet, shady, and you could hear more nature sounds than city sounds which was nice. I didn’t like that I saw broken glass along the entire trail and there were no markings where the trail started and ended.

This review will echo some comments I e read in other reviews. Overall, this is a really good hike. The map for this trail is a mess. There are too many trails to take so unless you want to stare at your phone the whole time just go out & wonder around for a while. There are a lot of hills. I seemed to be go up or down most of the time. There was a decent amount of people there. Not constant but occasionally crossing paths. Make way for mountain bikers. You could keep going back & doing different hikes. There is a hunting area nearby do you might hear some rifle shots, but nothing to worry about.

Quaint trail at the end of a lovely neighborhood. Convenient for those who live by but not necessarily a destination for travelers. Meanders a bit with several forks in the road so easy to get turned around. Clean, wide, and easy enough for anyone.

A lovely (little) trail. Wildflowers, birdsong, squirrels, a sense of being deep in nature. Family-friendly for kids who can walk or ride in a carrier, not accessible to strollers. Many dead trees that seem like they'll go down in the next good windstorm, however, none blocked the path. Path is well delineated. A few mud puddles the day after rain, easily avoided without departing from the path. As far as social distancing goes, we saw zero other people on the trail, five in the park at the end. The playground equipment appears to be new, labeled as being for kids 2-5. Good pavilion with maintained trash cans and multiple picnic tables.

Super well maintained, no potholes or muddy parts where we walked. Very quiet with good scenery. Good for biking, walking, or jogging.

Once you get down past the Glasshouse Apartments the trail is closed. I’m not sure if there’s another way to keep going or not. We were only able to go a short distance.

Beautiful area but the trails are very poorly marked and it is very easy to get lost. My friend and I turned this hike into a 6 mile one, which I am not complaining about-always good to have extra exercise, but they could certainly do a better job marking the trails.

It is a pretty easy trail but I would recommend downloading a few map layers as the all trail map does not follow the trail that well. It is pretty busy, a lot of biking and families on the trail

This is a paved, flat path. If you want something very safe, very easy, and the ability to play on a playground before or after, go here. If you want something even slightly challenging, go somewhere else. Very crowded

Be mindful of incoming bikes. There are a lot of sharp turns that could cause accidents with bikes if you aren’t paying attention. Trails could be marked better, but with this app and the map of all the trails it’s not too hard to stay on path.

The map on this is wrong, the blue trail is there, just not the one shown, the one shown on the map is the orange trail, to find the blue trail, look for deer lakes red and blue, the map is right, all nice trails doesn’t matter what one you take

This was such a cool trail (and yet a little spooky)! Beautiful trail in the woods that runs parallel to the windy Hassam Road. Along the trail I saw at least four very old cars that had clearly veered off the road and down the hillside way back in the way. I also saw some very cool snails and bugs/insects hanging out on old tree logs. The oil well was very cool to see as well—neat local history! Very easy and enjoyable hike!

Great for mountain biking, but wouldn’t care to go back for hiking ... very poorly marked and gets confusing when coming to multiple intersections. Also, someone was hunting nearby and was shooting for majority of the time I was there and freaked out both of my dogs.

Really enjoy being able to be isolate in nature with a great view of the city!

Super nice trail through the woods and around Schenley Park. Tons of scenery and lots of chipmunks! Some parts are a little dicey due to them saying “closed”, but people are still using them so I’m not sure how accurate that is.

Good easy trail for families. Some hills. A lot of variety and different trails tucked into this location. Check out website to learn about which exact trail you’d like to do based on your preference. Nice pond also onsite. Can be as long as 2.2 miles or as short as 0.1

Enjoyable hike overall. Trails not are well marked, very easy to get a mile off the trail without realizing it. A bit muddy but they did a nice job with logs and bridges to keep your feet dry.

Upper and lower loop were good with bridges and beautiful lake..

Good, easy to hike, the lake point was really calm.
