Not sure where people are finding the views in the pictures for this trail, because we certainly didn’t see them. It’s not a bad hike, pretty easy going. There’s some cool boulders you can scramble up off the sides of the path in some areas. I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to do this trail though.

Great hike. Ohiopyle was packed but this hike wasn’t. Unlike the lots for cucumber falls and the slides, the parking lot is large and not many people on this trail this Saturday. I wouldn’t consider easy though with all the steep hills and how muddy the trail can get. I highly recommend hiking boots, even though it hadn’t rained the trail was extremely muddy and slippery. Exploring the rocks where the cascades are, are also extremely slippery. Pack plenty of water, even though shady hiking in August it was hot. Great place to stop, relax and have a picnic! This hike wasnt highly trafficked at all to the cascades but it is difficult to locate and not marked very well to the cascades, luckily we won’t the guessing game.

beautiful hike..takes you along the river and you walk out on the rocks...takes you to Cucumber Falls....did get lost at times...took you by the Allegheny passage.

Great hike for a Saturday afternoon. If you follow the map, you don’t reach a lookout, but it’s still a great hike with flowing streams and lots of rhododendrons and ferns. Saw very few people for a July weekend. A few muddy spots, probably due to the rain we’ve had, but nothing you can’t get around. Directions to the trailhead are inaccurate— park on Sheridan street or in bike lot and walk down bike trail about 5 minutes.

Great trail and views, I wouldn’t call this trail is easy. It rained the day before so the trail was very sloppy and wet.

I did this hike out to Mile 0 after starting at 70 the week prior. The hills are rough, but some beautiful views. The coming down to the shelter from mile 7 is brutal!
An awesome hike! These last 6.5 miles, in my opinion, aren’t as a beautiful walk as the rest of the trail but still beautiful. Be sure to wear good shoes and carry water!

Great hike with beautiful scenery and a wonderful outlook towards the middle. I definitely would consider this trail moderate difficult rather than easy, though. Quite a bit up upward climbing! Lovely trail.

I loved this trail one of my favorites so far just enough of a challenge for me only issue is part of trail the bridge is out and was never replaced so had to walk thru the water

A little tough to follow the first half mile, although a beautiful run. The rest is easy until the climb. A good run.

Great workout for a moderately fit person. It was very muddy in parts so wear good grip sturdy hiking boots.

my favorite trail.

This hike is short, moderate difficultly, and full of diverse scenery. I completed the whole thing in 2 hours with also exploring most of the curiosities along the trail. This trail consists of abandoned cabin foundations, a small pond, an over look of the valley, various types of trees and foliage, cool large boulders and moderately steep hiking! I would recommend for a quick fun hike!

Not very well marked at all. Got lost a couple times and eventually turned around.

Muddy but fun. I have nothing bad to say about this trail but it does get a little challenging during parts.

Excellent trail with beautiful scenery. Came from high bridge and hit cucumber falls at the end and it was well worth it. had the gorge trail to ourselves, but the falls themselves were a little crowded since it's a popular spot right next to the road.

Great rolling trail following the river. the last bit has a decent elevation change. Make sure to stop at Cucumber Falls.

Great challenge. As a beginner it was very tough. But we made it to the 6.4 mile spent the night then back out for some burgers and icecream at a great little place by the viewing spot. Took everything we had to get back. Not a good beginner trail but great views none the less!

This is not a loop trail. A friend and I hiked the Baughman to Sugar Loaf Trail - and that made it about a 10.4 mile loop - with the Kim trail to the Knob thrown in. It was an awesome trail system. Baughman starts off steep and was challenging for awhile if you were carrying a pack. It levels off at the top, and then you have another climb if you choose to continue on the Kim trail to the top of the knob. You come back down the Kim trail and find the Sugar Loaf Trail and it winds its way back down to the starting point. Not hard to follow - everything was well marked. Just be aware you aren't following Baughman the entire way!

Beautiful views of two waterfalls. Recommend to wear hiking boots / shoes with better traction than just sneakers. If you want to get close to the falls, footage gets sloppy (as expected).

It’s not actually a loop if you follow the posts. You will have to cross the road at the lookout and continue on the orange trail. The app kept us on course.

Awesome trail! Well marked with gorgeous views

Rain was light and steady but the trail was great. 50 degrees on the 1st week in dec 17.

Amazing trail, amazing views. Definitely challenging on the hills and not too much flat hiking except up in the ridge. Hiked in to the shelter area for an overnight and back the following morning. I think the first big climb on the return hike is the worst..."switchback mountain".

The trail is well maintained and the flashes are well placed. This trail is a pretty steady incline through the woods. Not really any views until the very top where there is also a parking lot and lots of photographers/tourists.
