Took my 5 and 7 year old nieces hiking to the waterfall! Was extremely muddy but a fun trail hike! I recommend hiking boots. The brush is overgrown in many parts! The trees make the trip enjoyable in the summer with all the shade but lots of bugs buzzing so be sure to spray yourself with bug spray. Hilly in places so rough when muddy. Started down pouring when we got to the waterfall so ended up doing the rest of the trail ankle deep water and mud the entire way to the car. Was def an adventure and hope to go back when it’s not raining and muddy. Was a fun trail and an adventure for sure. There is a picnic table at the waterfall so you can enjoy a picnic or rest if needed.
