Really nice hike. We took 6 kids with us ages 6-12. They all were able to make the hike to Dutchman falls and the Haystacks. It was well worth the trip. The kids enjoyed playing at the Haystacks.

Took the LT to the Haystacks along the Loyalsock Creek then looped back nice 8 miles of shaded trail.

Great hike, falls were nice, haystacks well worth the walk.

I hiked this trail in the fall. It’s a nice trail and the haystacks are really cool. The old railway grade seems to go on forever, so I got a bit bored walking that to get to/from the haystacks. I would also consider it more moderate than easy.

Perfect hike for all ages and ability levels. The way out to the haystacks featured a well marked trail with a variety of plants and animals to see. We spotted a ton of multicolored mushrooms around the hemlocks and saw the biggest black snake Ive ever seen sunning itself! At the haystacks there were only a few people and it was the perfect place to stop for lunch and listen to the water! The trail back featured a small waterfall and easy rail trail to make the walk back effortless. If you have time, pop over to Dutchman falls for a beautiful waterfall!

After I get my hip replaced, I'll try the Loyalsock Trail. This was hard enough for me, but I'd recommend this for all skill levels.

Great trail. The water was very low, but still enjoyed going out on the rocks. We ended up being the only ones there that afternoon. Very quiet and peaceful.

Great family trail. Don't forget your swimsuit and towel

This is a great hike. Go when the waters are higher for the full effect, and do not forget to leave the trail for the waterfall.

What a great hike! It does not offer much in the way of a challenge which means you can walk at a nice pace and spend more time seeing waterfalls and the churning creek and less time watching where you step.
