Very rocky, but worthy the trouble for the amazing view.

Gorgeous views on a beautiful fall day. So many awesome colors. Bear rock is a must. Very pretty. Very rocky.

Very fun trail. Very rocky with awesome views.

Loved the view but the graffiti is really terrible.

Did bears rock and knife edge trail. So many bugs, wolf spiders and there was a snake hidden in the rocks we were climbing. Hard work that wasn't rewarded with the views. Wouldn't do this trail again.

Not difficult or too exciting. Rock outcropping was ok but steep.

This trail kicked my ass. I wouldn’t do it again but certainly glad I did it once. Props to anyone who can do a 16mi hike comfortably hahaha

Loved this lightly trafficked hike. Plenty of shade. Rocky in spots. Great hike with my pup. Just couldn't bring him to the top of Bear rock. To step for a dog.

Wanted to check it out on a cool clear day and the views were not disappointing. The hike up can be a slight challenge if you’re not used to hiking on rough terrain but the view makes it well worth the effort. The hike back down is a piece of cake. I will be coming back in a few weeks as the leaves start to change.

Beautiful view once you reached the overlooking spot. A lot of boulders, moderate hike and it is better to use above the ankle boots.

Lots of graffiti. Take pics with the black and white filter to help with that. Quick hike that is worth the view. Several good side trails too. We spent 2 hours here which was mostly sitting and looking at the view

Quick hike with beautiful views.

fairly simple hike to a great view. lots of graffiti, thanks to idiots

A relatively easy, yet rocky, hike with a huge visual payoff! As you approach the lookout areas, the one on the right was superior. Take your binoculars, and get bonus points for finding the runway!

This is a short, fairly easy hike to the overlook if you don’t mind lots of rocks. Husband and I took this trail for the second time & the view is really nice on the right side. The left not so much. Trees block most of the view. So disappointing to see all the graffiti on the overlook though. I went past the overlook but it was more like a huge rock pile than a trail. Hubby didn’t want to follow so I turned back after getting to what looked like another overlook but I would have had to climb up some big boulders to see the view. Didn’t want to risk it without someone with me. Wear good hiking boots.

Awesome hike! Very rocky, but that's to be expected. I have no clue why the app logged my hike the way it did though. Definitely didn't hike 14 miles haha

great trail! meet a couple weird people but had an awesome time.

Probably my favorite stop on the way to knifes edge

The two miles is rock jumble...tough when it's wet. The next four are at the ridgeline, so easy walking. The last two are downhill to the water, which is underwhelming. Vigorous hiking at the beginning and end..big descent/climb at the halfway if you do the whole out and back. The ridge trails (off the AT) are overgrown and not really worth going out of your way for.

It’s been years since I’ve been up here. Nice to know not much has changed. The drive up is a bit sketchy but it was expected.
