In all honesty, I’ve been to this park for years as a child and have never realized that there were multiple trails in this park. I’ve been on my first one and have enjoyed it dearly.

Easy trail with moderate foot traffic. Nothing too exciting but made for a nice weekend hike

The trail wasn't very challenging but if you want to take a stroll on a relaxing day it's your spot. Got to see some cool wildlife--deer, fox, turkey buzzard. Overall pretty cool spot.

Biked from Fort Washington State Park to Rita's for Italian water ice with seven and eight year old. Veered off trail at Mill Rd to Bethlehem Pike for a couple blocks to get there. Six mile / 41 minute ride / About an hour in total with stops included.

There is a steep cut-through on the return where kids will have walk their bikes for about seven minutes. Also, there are a few patches of slightly loose gravel which kids need to be careful navigating.

Overall a quick, confidence-building ride for young children with a tasty treat between.

Easy trail perfect for kids and dogs.. Great for training, bring ya rod to plenty of fishing spots

Planned to hike the entire trail today with the dogs, but it started to snow pretty good and the underlying surface of the trail was a complete sheet of ice. Had to settle for about 4 miles, but it was nice none the less. First time I visited this one, and it looks like it's better suited to 2 wheels instead of 2 feet.

I was just here yesterday. Got there at dawn to try and take advantage of the bird watching tower for some photography. Unfortunately weather didn't cooperate. Instead I took my camera and hiked one of the trails. I hiked for almost 3 hours without seeing another person. Lots of wildlife though. All in all a great morning of leisure hiking, photography and solitude.

I was not impressed. A huge part of the trail is actually an open road to cars who speed by you and when you finally do get onto the actual grassy area it isn't marked just looks like someone sat on a lawnmower and zoomed through the park leaving the trail looking like an untamed grassy field. I was not impressed and felt the least bit as though it was a hike, more like a stroll through a park with all types of action going on around you.

Part of this trail is the 25 mph road that winds through the park. There are picnic pavilions and playgrounds so don't expect solitude when you visit this park on a warm weekend afternoon. But if you go late in the day, you will have the park mostly to yourself. There is a hawk observation tower overlooking the whole valley with breathtaking views and a flower garden attracting birds and butterflies so it's a nice place to see nature despite the crowds.
