Loved the canyon Vista and the rock garden made us kids again.

great trail for a good work out. not too strenuous and fairly easy for those in little athletic shape. view at the middle and end are well worth the hike. I'd give yourself a good 2-3 hrs to give yourself time for breaks and just taking in the scenery

Spectacular, easy hike with many cascades and waterfalls which were even more spectacular because of recent rains! Kid friendly trail and I recommend a counter clockwise hike! Enjoy, it’s worth the effort!

Best part of the Loyalsock-Link Loop. Awesome creekside campsites with places to swim. Much drier than the Loyalsock.

Tough hike however worth it. Various terrain with many different views. We added the cold run spur with this loop which added an additional 1.5 miles. Would definitely consider doing this again.

Great hike! 4 mike loop that starts along the water and goes up to two different look outs. Highly recommend. Completed in 3 hours with many stops to look at the views.

If you like waterfalls, this trail is for YOU! There are so many of them and they’re beautiful! Cottonwood Falls surely is the most impressive, but the others are no less remarkable to see. For the short length of this trail, it really packs a lot of excitement! One of my favorites!

This is such a fun and rewarding hike! I did the loop counterclockwise, seeing the beautiful vistas fist and then exploring the massive boulder garden. I loved it and will definitely be back to do this one again!

A favorite hike, spring, summer or fall. Double Run stream is really beautiful, with a couple of especially lovely small falls on the way to Cottonwood Falls. And some of the rocks/boulders in the stream are great places to simply sit (or lie) for a while, enjoying the sublime beauty and serenity of this special place.
While there are a few steep stretches, I do not consider this a 'hard' hike, and I'm in my 60s and not in the best shape.

I almost always give 4 or 5 stars I like hiking and I find joy in most trails. Angel falls is by far a favorite. I have taken many friends there and if you can get up there while the Mountain Laurel is blooming I would!

Fun loop with cool waterfalls, steep at some parts though

Nice short hike, pretty cool waterfall. Steep at times stairs along the way. I would recommend walking counter clock wise.

Today was a great hike. The blue markings on the trees were easy to follow and the views throughout were beautiful. Took us about 3 hours.
We enjoyed the babbling brooks throughout the tails. Mostly shaded. The vistas are well worth the hike to see.

Hiked this as a loop... followed the old LT out along the creek then climbed up to the falls. Very little trace of old blazes but it’s a pretty clear trail. When you intersect with a small (dry) creek bed just past a fire ring, turn right and start climbing uphill to the falls. Once you start seeing the blue blazes you are good to follow up to the rerouted LT. Waterfall was just a small trickle when I went two weeks ago.

Great challenging trail. Very well marked. Sprinkled with a few small waterfalls. Loved it!

Hard to get lost on this one... blazes every where! Nice hike with two vistas and the rock garden is pretty neat as well.

I recommend doing the hike counter-clockwise starting from the Family Campground at Rt. 154. That means completing the loop with a stretch of level hiking beside the Loyalsock Creek, making for a very nice finish. The view at the canyon lookout is well worth the effort and be sure to check out the nearby Rock Garden, an impressive jumble of huge boulders and rock formations! Just long and strenuous enough, with visual treats along the way, to make it a very enjoyable and rewarding hike!

Fun hike, some parts of the trail weren't well marked.

did this hike yesterday with my dog. parked on Rt 154 east of the campground entrance. It took me 3.5 hours to do about 6ish miles. I went counter clockwise on the Canyon Vista Trail (next time I'd do the reverse). to make it longer, I took the red x link trail (roughly 1 mile) down to the green double run trail (roughly 1 mile loop). I recommend doing the green trail counter clockwise so you so the two best falls face on. these falls are well worth the effort the vista at the top is a great opening (just know people can also drive to it and there are restrooms). Moderate level hike that my 1.5 yr golden loved playing in the streams.

Fun hike, we did on a dry week not much water going over the falls. Some mud along the way, pretty impressive falls.

Great trail! With a beautiful waterfall

Waterfalls along the trail and the grand vista at Worlds End makes this moderate hike memorable.

Great hike. Easy all around. The view was great. There were a lot of natural rock formations that were worth it. Great family hike.

Great learning hike for the kids with short steep and technical sections, stairs and bridges. Also used the several trail intersections and overlaps for lessons with the blazes and map reading. All rewarded with small beautiful falls.

the view was so rewarding

This park is truly beautiful. Lots of water features, interesting terrain. My only complaint is that some of these trails are very close to roads. While the roads may not be heavily trafficked, you still don’t feel like you are truly “in nature.” Nonetheless, I still really enjoyed hiking here and would definitely come back again in the summer when the trees are in full bloom. We started at the Worlds End trailhead next to the Park Office, took LT to Pioneer Road, Double Run Nature Trail, took the Link Trail southbound, up to the Loyalsock Canyon Vista where we stopped for lunch and then finished the LT loop back to the start.

Beautiful day for exploring this trail. I parked at the family campground and hiked counter clockwise... either way is going to be a lot of uphill but I think this way was less brutal on the ascent. There are two great vistas and lots of rock gardens are boulders along the way to explore. It was a bit muddy today so the hiking boots were definitely a wise choice. This is the most blazed happy trail I’ve ever seen, there must be 400 trail markers in the 4.3 mile loop!

Great trail! A little soggy in places and had to cross the stream on downed logs a few places but unlike the adventure! The Fall are beautiful! I did loose the blazing but was easy to follow the stream back to the Loyalsock Trail.
