The highlight of this trail for sure is the small abandoned cemetery. I can’t wait to go back in the fall or winter when it’s not so overgrown so I can really take a good look. Take bug spray if you go this time of year! And also, a park ranger was driving down the trail in a van so I was super happy to have obeyed the rules and keep my dog on a leash.

I run on this trail pretty often. One of my favorites routes to take when starting a run from Ridley Creek State Park. Beautiful long stretch along the creek with a view of the golf course on the other side.

Nice trail, however stay away right now because they are deforesting sections of the trail because of a problem with emerald ash trees. There were no signs to let me know so I was walking through deep mud tracks from large vehicles and in front way off trail trying to get around all the down trees in the way. It was a hassle and very unpleasant. I'm not sure when it will be completed (I hiked this on March 6, 2018).

Pretty quick loop missing many of the bigger hills in the park

This is a great loop through a lot of Ridley Creek State Park. There is one spot around where the blue and the white trails meet where the lines on the map didn't jive with reality, but it was easily remedied.
