Very fun! Not too muddy.

This is a legit moderate hike, my 9 and 6 were challenged but no real issue. sadly you can't climb the fire tower. 8/10, good hike, nothing special in terms of scenery other than lovely forest! enjoy

I have been hiking this trail for many years. It is a great trail for a quick, after work, hike. It takes about one hour. Great work out and stress buster hike!

this trail is 5.5 miles if you do the loop starting at the park road entrance. alltrails says it's 8.5, french creek says it's either 3 or 4 depending on what sign you read. it's 5.5 miles of mostly easy hiking with about 1/4 of it being rocky and/or a 30-40 degree incline. very nice nature walk. more interesting terrain than other trails in this park.

Great trail. Probably 80% of it being shaded. There’s a few trails near the shed road entrance to the Lenape trail that are overgrown but all the trail-blaze markings are clear.

easy trail with one moderate Hill climb, well forested so I was protected from both the sun and a brief shower. pretty boring overall but a nice walk in the woods for me and the pup.

It was a bit rough, lots of rocks & roots to climb over but other than that, a simple trail.

Very wide in some places and others growth is closing in on the trail. Very well marked and nice trail. Not that difficult.

Trail was clearly marked, and I'm saying this as a novice. Lots of spider webs and web strands to run into, but this is peak spider season. Good elevation variations and variety of terrain. Will branch off to Raccoon Trail and Miller's Point next time.

Wasn’t that impressed with this trail, especially given that it effectively ends at a parking lot.

We could not find the trail head where the map shows it. Park staff directed us to drive to D loop and park in the area next to the gated access road. Walk up the gravel access road to where the trail crosses it.

I started at the entrance of the park. Went out Turtle trail toward the fire tower. Then towards the Furnace. The back to the car. Making a nice 8.7 mile hike.

Some very nice sections, but some gravel road portions. Pretty easy walk. Elevation change is gradual and not difficult. Watch for snakes — ran into a timber snake.

We started at the beach parking and walked the lake counter-clockwise. The trail initially was well marked and easy to follow. After we crossed the dam and we’re starting to make our way back the trail was muddy, over grown and difficult to determine were to go. There were several places where it was unclear (since other hikers had blazed trails around the mud) whether we were still on the trail. I walked through the creek. My wife shimmied her way over on a fallen tree.

rained torrents three days in a row before I hit this trail so the mud was to be expected. Shaded the whole way and surprisingly few bugs but that could change. Good over all and i think moderate difficulty is a fair rating.
