It was easy to find and follow although it was unmarked. There is no parking but there are plenty of spots along the road since it’s not heavily trafficked. The area was very quiet and if you’re looking for the tunnel and bridge, you can find it further down tunnel road compared to the actual start of this trail.

Not hard to to find but no trail parking that I found. Also not well marked. I was fortunate to meet a local who directed me to a suitable parking place and directed me to the view. There was an interesting tunnel and rr footbridge on penns creek with parking but it was filled with fishermen!

LOVED our hike. Make sure to get yourself a map though!! There are some really detailed maps available for free. We did the Gum Trail which is beautiful although it has a STEEP incline for over half a mile taking you up to a road. There are a LOT of trails to choose from, make sure to plan ahead of time!

It was not quite clear from the AllTrails description what this actually was. We drove in and it is a really beautiful drive next to a river where you see lots of people fishing. However as far as hiking goes you're pretty much walking along a relatively residential road the entire time. All the trails pictured above are marked as private property so we didn't even bother. The cave is really cool, we stopped and checked it out HOWEVER if you are looking for a trail hike (like we were) this is not the place.

Great tubing! Nice pace on the river, perfect water temperature and height (early August), amazing views every time the creek bends and the tree line opens. The river isn't too busy, and there's a tunnel that connects riders back to the parking lot easily once you finish. Some larger rocks creating decent rapids, but a safe ride none the less.

Penns Creek offers amazing, year-round trout fishing. I suggest starting right below Poe Paddy State Park, which in itself is a great place to visit.

This is a fabulous trail. But what's showing on my page is way far off the actual trail.

We camp at Poe Paddy State Park, floated down Penns Creek on inner tubes, climbed out, up the hill, thru the train tunnel, over the tressel and in the creek again for another trip around!! Great when it is full, too bumpy when dry
