Well-maintained easy quick loop with lots of old growth forest and some cute bridges. Easy hike.

Arrived before 7am on a rainy day and had the trail to myself. Short and easy but beautiful.

A very short, easy trail. Might be a good one to take a young kid on to introduce them to hiking. Not challenging at all. It's a beautiful spot - lots of old growth trees making it shady on a lot of the trail. It's pretty and relaxing and we've spent a lot of time here. There are picnic tables at the parking area.

We hiked here a few weeks before Christmas before the snow came. The Interpretive Trail's trailhead was easy to find in the parking lot. The scenery was astonishingly beautiful and the first half of the trail was easy to keep track of. But the further you went into the woods the more you began to lose track of any trail marking. Thankfully, the trail was well worn and we were able to follow the loop out. But you may not want to take this specific trail if you haven't done it before and/or easily lose your bearings.

great family trail + dog friendly

Short, easy scenic trail. Not the right place if you're looking for a challenging hike, but great for a short stroll in the woods. Lots of beautiful, towering old trees!

I took my mom here a couple of years ago for her first hiking experience. This trail was easy with a couple of easy hill climbs and descents that most people could handle. We took our time and and enjoyed the scenery. Since this trail connects to some of the other local trails in the Allegheny National Forest, it would have been nice if the trails were labeled better. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed our time hiking Tom's Run!

Very peaceful and scenic. We went in the winter, very beautiful and quiet.

Nice scenic trail, great short hike. There is a group camping site near by for youth groups and scout camping.

Very Easy and scenic trail through untouched virgin timber area, A short hike in a loop. It is slightly downhill so it might be a lil difficult for some elderly but I have taken children as young as 6 around this loop with no problem. Lots of interest points set up by the forestry along the trail. Very well maintained. A nice quick hike, No camping along this trail but there is a campground run by the forestry not far from it.
