Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. During our trip the trees provided a wonderful canopy from the rain and the hot summer sun for most of it. Great trail with some exciting challenges throughout.

A very nice set of trails, but a lot of poop to dodge. Wear old shoes.

Just hiked this today with my dog (4 month old lab). He loved it just as much as I did. Definitely recommend this trail for someone who’s looking for a beautiful hike with a slight challenge to it. One of the best in the area in my opinion!

Great hike and perfect for me to do with my 6 y/o.

Could be nice. Be careful at the very beginning some asshole broke a bunch of glass. Ny dog almost got cut

love this place

This was one of our first hikes this year and it made for an enjoyable afternoon. The path up is steep in places but manageable even for someone like me who has a few wonky joints in her legs. It was clearly marked and easy to find. And the view from the top was lovely. The only drawback was that on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, there were a fair amount of other people on the trail and at the summit.

Great hike, lots of rocks and tree roots to keep you in your toes. A stop in the Grist mill is definitely a plus. I’m just sad that I didn’t do this hike sooner. I will definitely do it again.

Did the trail this morning with 4 kids 5 and under. All were able to make the whole trail walking on their own. It was definitely tricky in spots, and you have to be careful on the narrow spots. But it was absolutely beautiful. Multiple waterfalls along the way, interesting wildlife, and gorgeous scenery along the river the whole way. Definitely worth it!

My wife and I took our 4 children on it a couple weeks ago. It was their first hike. They range in age from 3-8 years old. They all loved it!! It was quite the work out for them, and they all slept well that night.
I would definitely recommend this trail!

Gorgeous scenery, hike loop is short but a good workout, easy to access, close to cities.
PLEASE NOTE - very dangerous, slippery rocks (hence the creek name) next to whitewater current creek. Respect the dangers and stay on the trail.

Waterfalls along the trail and the grand vista at Worlds End makes this moderate hike memorable.

Steep, challenging trail that’s definitely worth the view at the end.

Great hike, like lots of others said, just watch your footing. My (newly) 4 year old hiked the whole trail, with me holding her hand for most of the uneven terrain but enough space for me to walk with her. My husband had our 2 year old in a backpack carrier. She did the flatter areas at the beginning and end by both bridges. Kids loved the little waterfalls and saw a newt.

Not very scenic, but pleasant.

A fairly steep trail on the shorter side. Beautiful payoff at the summit!

Had a great hike on this trail, even stretched over to backend of Slippery Rock Gorge trail, another fun hike. This one has a nice trade off; while there are few uphill “pushes” one must be aware as it consistent in its embedded rocks and endless winding tree roots. Stay aware! But get yourself on this trail soon.

Had so much fun with my 4 boys on this trail! We spent some extra time crawling around on the rocks, playing on the beach, and watching kayakers.

Can you fish in the area?

Short trail with choice of steep or alternate. We went up steep and came down the alternate in 44 minutes. Great trail for the family!!!

Great hike, rocky so you definitely need to watch your footing. But beautiful views the whole way.

This was a great hike. Lots of rocky terrain, my Girl and I took our dog and had a blast.. backside of the loop has a lot more rocky terrain and climbing. Great photo spots along the way.

We did this trail as part of the loop around the lake. The park map is missing the blue-blazed trail. It completes the loop by connecting the crow trail to the spirit trail, which also includes a short section on the road. We went clockwise, starting from the boat launch. Follow the yellow blazes until the lakeview trail comes to a clearing and there's really no clue as to which way to go. Bear right (~45 degrees) going a little downhill and stay on the wide one-car-lane trail. Bear left at the intersection with the crow trail, no signs or blazes, and follow this to the road. Take a right at the road, cross the bridge, and the blue-blazed trail is right there. Follow this to the red-blazed trail (we went right), then to the white-blazed trail (we went right), then to the yellow-blazed trail (right again), back to the lake. About 6 miles around. Overall, a very pretty trail, fairly easy, but requires some route-finding skills.

The most poorly marked trail I’ve encountered. Also, wear waterproof boots. Nice area; scenic reservoir — of which there is not an unobstructed view from the trail.
