It’s a nice trail, saw some wildlife while we were out. Overall it’s a bit busy in the surrounding area but hardly anyone was on the trail. The markers do indeed get a bit confusing to follow. The vistas weren’t as impressive as most people said and there really isn’t too much to see besides woods. Well maintained though, not great, not terrible overall.

More of an easy/moderate hike. Good scenery and well marked paths

The trail is not difficult to follow if you have a map or use the ap. The trail turns right once you hit the telephone lines. The trail was in good condition with only a few really muddy spots. Not many people on the trail due to the cold weather.

Short hike. Lovely fall leaves all around. As we are new to following trail markers we weren't sure if we were to follow the yellow, green, or U shapes on the trees (we believe it's the U shape). Though it felt a little urban it was quiet and serene, possibly due to the colder temperatures. One or two vistas as well.

This was a great hike around North Park but some of the route was difficult to find. I wish there were clearer markings or signs. If we didn't have the map on our phone we would have been lost.

Difficult to stay on course at times. Most was great hiking. Final mile along the RR tracks was not the best! Would do parts again!

Lots of fun but poorly marked in a lot of places. Probably added at least another mile doubling back to find the correct path, but overall a great hike!

Nice hard packed path. Well blazed with green blazes. Narrow and a little steep in a few spots. I did this trail in about 35 minutes.

It's a beautiful trail, not the greatest trail markers, we went through a playground and by the pool at one point. We needed the trail mail a lot of the time. There is about a mile and a half on the trail tracks so wear a hat or sunscreen!!

This was a great trail. There were two trees down on the trail but they were easy to get around. Would definitely do this trail again!

I’m surprised to see this is listed as moderate. I’m a beginner and had no problems with this trail. It does have some hills but nothing major. The only problem was at two different places there were downed trees. One was easy to get around as it was on a flat part. The other was difficult to get around. The tree was too high to go over and too low to go under. I ended up going about 10 feet up the hill using the trees for balance. Luckily the ground was sturdy and I was able to continue. I only wonder how the bike rider that passed me later on the trail made it over/under/around?

Nice kid friendly trail with easy access from north park and parking closer to picnic sites. Mostly flat and easy going.

A fun ~1 hour loop.

Great trail! did it in December so maybe some of the marks were off. I started at Juniata rather than off of wildwood because gate was closed. follow yellow then green polka dot, then white stripe, red dot, black triangle, yellow stripe and back. somewhere in the middle is a wicked fun mountain bike course.
Good elevation gain and super workout!

There were a lot of hikers trying to burn off Thanksgiving dinner. It was still a nice hike.

Almost sure we did it wrong, but we got back to the car okay.

At times it was confusing to follow the trail, but not terrible. At points the trail provided for a more secluded feeling but still fairly close to roads and other places in the park. Not bad for a short hike

Nice trail but really poorly blazed - we couldn't even finish the loop because it got confusing 2/3 in and we turned around.

Took our 4 and 7 year old boys. Easy enjoyable hike for them. Agree markers could be better. Really beautiful though, even though so close to hustle and bustle, it really feels secluded

Nice short hike to do with a dog. I have an older dog with arthritis issues so we can't do what we used to. But she still loves to go. This hike was perfect for her. A lot to explore. Enough seclusion to feel like you were getting away. I agree the trail markings were few and far between and hard to follow when you did find them. I found it enjoyable with the map with this app.

Not for a bigger because all the sharp turns and steep hills. Also hard to find.

Good trail with some steep inclines at points. Connects with various blazed trails around North Park, but is mostly unblazed. Recommend using a map or AllTrails app to navigate. Plenty of opportunities to change trails and direction to lengthen or shorten depending on your preference. Prime coyote territory in North Park so just be alert.

Got a little backwards because the specific trail isn't clearly marked, so I think I missed a few spots. Plus, I had to do some steep hill climbing to get back to a main trail. But, I wasn't in a hurry, so I enjoyed myself anyway.

Great easy and quick trail for a nice after work activity. Dog friendly on leash. Easy to navigate even though the trails could be better marked.
