Nice short trail lots of stairs we left from the visitors center and there was a tunnel under the highway almost all blackout very beautiful.

The trail emptied onto the beach. Beautiful!

Easy hike worth the trip for the view.

Best to go at lower tide! Maybe just the season, but there was no one there and we got an awesome show. Short hike, a little confusing but just head down at either point by the bridge (there are two parking lots along the hwy). Gotta get out over the rocks but be careful with the tide, some waves come in big.

Love this! Super easy and nice for all ages. Very pretty views!

I love this hike. Its really pretty for looking at the ocean. Only thing some may not like is tourist come here frequently.

I do this trail when I want an easy walk with a pretty view.

I enjoy this going down the hill. Up hill can be kinda rough with how steep it is. Check the weather before going as mud can make it harder. I feel this trail is more uneven from rocks and roots on the ground. I dont find it an issue but some may.

This walk and beach is getting really crowded with tourists. Beautiful beach, but too many people if you’re looking for a peaceful nature walk. Please leave unfriendly dogs at home if they can’t get along with others.

High tide, big waves, sunset-super!

Great thank u

this is a nice climb and short - combine it with the Amanda trail for a longer stretch and more elevation. I did that to condition for Yosemite.

Beautiful, moderately traveled trail with many switchbacks up the side of a hill. Spectacular views of the ocean and lots of wildflowers in the Spring. At the top is a parking lot with bathrooms and a shelter overlooking the ocean. Amanda Trail ends up at the same parking lot from the other direction.

Gorgeous look out. Not very muddy in the winter, pretty steep but not too long and a good workout. Beautiful old growth trees.

Short(er) hike. Loved seeing people of all ages doing it! Slippery, obviously, so wear good shoes. Great views.

Great trail with a view.

Great hike! The Trail has Switch backs on the way up and maintained well. Wasn't crowded for a Sunday afternoon. We went on a clear day which allowed us to see down the coast and catch some whale watching at the top. The view makes the hike extremely worth it! Not too challenging as an experienced hiker.

When you walk down the stairs, you have to walk near the «churn» not to see, but to hear the sounds of water in the churn.

Check weather first.

Really rocky area of the Oregon coast, but lots to see and explore. Thor's Well was really cool. Will go again when the tide is higher. Great spot to stop and explore.

Short and easy paved trail. Park at the Cape Perpetua visitor center and start the hike at the trailhead there. You have the option to do Cooks Chasm, Devil's Churn (not fully paved), or both.

From the Cooks Chasm trail you can walk down along tide pools, check out the Sprouting Horn, and/or see Thor's Well.

Not a bad walk, but not terribly impressive. The parking lot for Devil's Chasm was too full for us to park there (very small!) but you can park at the Cape Perpetua visitor center and hike over. The trail from the visitor center isn't fully paved and does include a brief bit along Highway 101, but there was more parking and the option to include the Captain Cook trail as well.

There are stairs down from the trail to get you closer to the chasm but there isn't a lot to see.

Great short hike. Fairly steep, but amazing views. Would rate higher but you can drive to the top and see the same view, which makes it not as rewarding. I actually went to the top on accident so I hiked down and then back up.

This trail would be incredible if I hadn't driven to the top about a millions times prior to hiking it. The hike is steep and the view at the top is worth it.
