Lovely shady trail. The interpretive signs need to be refreshed but some were readable and interesting. Encounter a nasty woman with 2 dogs off leash which she had zero control over and she left their mess on the trail. My dog was on a leash and she told me I shouldn’t bring my dog there if her off leash dogs bothered me. Oh well-some people don’t have to follow the rules I guess.

My dog & I hike this regularly for an hour + cardio workout. It’s perfect; there is slight climbing and gently rolling hills. There is NO water in the upper creeks at this writing - 6/9/19 - but there are still plenty of places where your pup(s) can get a drink. The ticks are bad this year so, be sure to give your best friend a thorough going over, not to mention YOURSELF. It’s lovely, cool, aromatic and mostly serene although today I ran into a large family of at least 10, half of which were children aged 5 and under. Drive with respect for the private property owners the last mile!

Our route combined the Waters Creek ADA trail and the Waters Creek hikers trail. The ADA section is wider and mostly flat. The hikers section is a hilly narrow trail with several run-off crossings. We suggest pants, both areas have poison oak along the sides of the tail, especially closer to the creek. We saw several people with dogs. Keep in mind they'll be brushing through poison oak. There is a nice parking area with a restroom at the trailhead. This hike is mostly shady with an abundance of ferns, moss, and flowers mixed in the trees.

Path well maintained. There is quite a bit of poison oak but you can avoid it. If you want the full trail, take the Hikers only trail. We hiked early May and the wildflowers were blooming. Great hike.

Beautiful hike with lots of little wildflowers. The weather was perfect! The trail is well marked and easy to follow, and my little chihuahua did awesome on it. Only saw a couple of people on the trail. Will do again!

pretty scenery and flowers

Easy loop trail hike that follows the creek. Well maintained. I came at 8 am on a Friday and we were the only people on the trail. Beautiful scenery.

snow

We walked this trail in late February and were surprised to find a few inches of snow covering a large portion of the trail. The trail goes through a forest where oak trees are predominant and crosses several small streams. It is a pleasant, fairly easy hike that anyone in moderately good health can take.

Very beautiful and not too strenuous.

Did the 3 mile loop today. It was a very easy, relaxing walk. Nothing strenuous, very few people, nice forest setting. I'll do this one again. Probably a good hike for people with smaller children.

Fantastic fall hike, went this morning after a rain. Beautiful golden leaves on the maple trees. Enjoyed this peaceful wander with it’s diversity of vegetation, lush moss and splendid little creek.

Nice hike! We did the full loop with kids and dogs. Lots of poison oak, so be careful, little dry this time of year, but still pretty. Nice easy hike!

Very well maintained short loop untouched by recent fires. It was a little dry but that’s the time of the year. My very short dog had no troubles and appreciated the sloping water access. There is a longer, hikers only portion of the loop that I will definitely return and try with appropriate shoes.

Very peaceful and serene.

This is a well maintained trail in both the shorter interpretive section and the “hiker” trail. The terrain of the “hiker” trail has more ups and downs but for the most part is manageable for most skill levels of enthusiasts. The drive to it is well maintained and an hour+ from Medford, Oregon.

Great hike, trail is clearly visible and marked. Did the outer loop, no huge incline or decline, pretty up and down path though. Was kinda rainy today but a lot of tree protection, so wasn’t bad at all.

The interpretive trail is an easy 1 mile stroll but dont miss the side trail that isn't marked very well that loops deeper into the forest.

Nice little oddly placed trail in the middle of no where... Surprising use of lumber lining a whole mile of trail. Not one I'll ever do again...

I love this trail and run it about once a week!

Nice easy trail for anytime of year. Close to GP and very accessible.

Really pretty easy walk. 2 other offshoot trails wasn't sure where they went to and have a pack so didn't explore.

A perfect run/hike loop!
