Not a looper but a nice easy trail with a creek view. Less than a hr

Easy hike for little beginners. Took my son (3 yrs old) on his first official hike here. It was very fun watching him explore and enjoy the outdoors as much as I do.

But those gunshots. Those damn gunshots. I get it. Folks want to shoot their guns and there may be some isolated places to do so, but so close to a public hiking trail?

It's too bad too. Because this is one of these easy hikes to just blow off steam from being on the highway. But not with the gunshots.

Interesting little "hike" to an interesting point in Oregon. Not worth going for this hike alone, but worth stopping by on the way to or from another hike.

We hiked this with two 7 year olds and a toddler. They managed fine, but the overgrowth made some parts of the trail tiresome to navigate. Needed a machete with me! The creek is nice and fun for the kids to explore. Seems like a firing range might be in the vicinity. Less than idyllic with gunfire in the distance.

beautiful, but they could of mentioned you have to pay to park..

Must be a hunting area or something nearby. Lots of gunshots. Otherwise, typical woodland trail.

Super short easy trail that leads to a flat marker on the ground at the four county point. The whole hike was punctuated by the sound of gunshots; I never saw anyone but could hear people firing guns nearby the entire time. Not the vibe I seek while hiking.

A typical trail in the forest, but the road noise from US 26 and the logging trucks, plus no views detract from this experience. The only real interest is the USGS marker at the four county corner point.

Nice trail. Clear. Easy. Out and back took about 40 mins. The marker at the end was pretty dirty and hard to read. The trail was a little confusing at the beginning. From the trailhead, take the trail to the left. The right loops around to the road.

An easy, simple trail that has the fun of being the only place in Oregon where you can be in four counties at once. A nice break on highway 26 coming from or going to the coast.

This is a very short trail for a quick walk. It is not very strenuous. It does have some beautiful nature in it: Wolf Creek which runs by - has the clearest water I've seen. There are beavers that have built a little dam there as well. If you're looking to stretch your legs for a few minutes and see some beautiful nature, this is the stop for you. If you'd like an even more beautiful and longer hike, proceed West on the same highway 6 miles to the Sunset rest Area where the Steam Donkey Trailhead is (not included in All Trails). It has a longer walk with just beautiful greenery.

Trailhead is a little bit of a knot, make sure that you head west on the old utility access road. If you take the "trail" make sure that you head west...it ends up connection back up to the old road anyways. It was a great hike, spent some time down at the creek throwing rocks and exploring as well. A few fallen trees, but that is to be expected in the winter season.

This trail is short, but great if you are taking a trip to the beach and need a quick stop for the dogs. This trail is also neat because when you get to the end you end up standing in 4 different counties in Oregon. Other than that the trail is boring and short but great for a quick hiking spot off the highway.

The trail was pretty overgrown in parts... It basically just takes you through trees, and gives you no views of the creek. It was overcast when we did it, so maybe it's much prettier when the sun peeks through.

Nice short hike. A little over grown and too near the highway, but fun nevertheless.
