Amazing views of surrounding valley. Make sure to take the tour of the home as well! A wonderful short and easy hike

Very enjoyable hike i found by accident while looking in cape Blanco for other hikes to do. Glad i found it and would do it again and add a few miles to it. My lab, Brook, enjoyed seeing those little wooly critters for the 1st time. She sees elk and deer on a regular basis but the 1st time seeing sheep on a trail. met and talked to a nice couple on the trail as well.

Nice little trail that leads to awesome views of Pt Blanco as well as to the north.

Interesting trail which opens up into views of the mouth of the Sixes River which I hiked earlier in the day. Brook, my lab, saw sheep for the second time today and she really wanted to run with them but didn't with my command not to. Nice little trail that the signage on Cape Blanco road disappeared since the last time I was here.

Drove by and saw a pull out area and then saw a trail head complete with signage so I had to do it... The trail is sparse and obvious that it's been a long time since anyone has traveled it... Hopefully there was more to it at some point but who knows. Simply another don't bother but who knows it could have been an awesome trail....... never know if you don't set shoes on the it.
