This trail is wonderful for mountain bikers, but for hikers it’s a dusty walk through a forest with traffic ;-)

If you start from the west trailhead of Tiddlywinks and ride to the end at the Storm King trailhead it is the most fun! You can start part way in off NF road 4100 I think it is if you want a more DH experience. This was one of the most fun trails I’ve been on in a long time, very flowy!

It was a really nice day and fun to watch the dogs swim. The crossing paths were really hard to follow and we were unsure how to find the actual loop.

We took our black lab here. She is only 1 and had lots of fun and has fun swimming. Great trail

The hike follows an old road/Jeep trail. As you hike through old junipers you are serenaded by the lovely sound of traffic from Highway 20. Not sure how this came to be designated wilderness? It has definitely been trammeled by man. Not much in the solitude department here either. Please pick up your doggie waste bags. Leaving trash behind in the form of dog feces in plastic bags is a good way to get dogs banished from a trail system our furry friends enjoy as much as we do!

Perfect winter hike. I don’t think I want to do it during summer! Gorgeous juniper trees, and wide open spaces. I will do this again.

A nice system of trails, not necessarily just one! There are lots of little side trails for tons of exploring- we weren’t able to follow the prescribed trail exactly, but it was still a nice morning stroll where the pup got to splash around in the river.

The best spot for you and your dog to explore the outdoors.

It’s a nice loop, nothing too challenging, but a nice stroll for late fall/early winter-

Nice easy hike. Beautiful views. A little difficult to follow had to use the map alot. Otherwise fun!

Easy to follow trail. No real change in scenery or elevation but a fun little ~3 mile loop
