Not a bad trail. Pretty easy, good for beginners.

Includes 2 trails: Tolinda trail, which starts at Germantown, and then it connects to Waterline trail which goes to the top -- and Skyline tavern. Nice elevation gain, not too bad except it was muddy, however, it's November so that's expected!

Limited parking at the gate. Follow fire roads 13, 12, and 15, and return via Wildwood Trail. Well marked.

Beautiful day! After the week I had I would have given 4 stars for a walk around our neighborhood. Got a break in the weather after raining all week. The trail presented me with mist, falling leaves and drops from the trees after the evening rain. The first mile is a narrow road but has a nice feel looking on to a ravine. The trail then narrows and eventually climbs. Encountered very few people on this Saturday morning. Much needed!

We followed most of a route from Laura Foster’s “Portland Hill Walks” which includes very interesting residential areas as well as the park itself.
