I have taken this trail many times in different seasons. My husky loves the areas to explore. Easy trail but can get muddy during the rainy months. Summertime is great, and there is a picnicking area should you want to add a stop. The loop is well travelled and is easy to follow; additionally, there are wildlife information postings to add to the education of the area especially nice for those not having been here before.

Great place for long boarding as well. Laurelhurst is seriously one of the best parks in SE Portland. Hammock!

Nice place for a relaxing walk.

Laurelhurst is super familiar and not very "magical" for me anymore, but it is a great place to hang out or get in some exercise. Today was perhaps the first time I have walked down every single trail in the park.

Last time I was here I found a pipe case on the waters edge. I opened it only to find a small bag a spoon and 2 needles... junkie starter kit... I am sick and tired of taking my kids to all these parks close to the city and have to pick up fucking needles or dealing with groups of people smoking weed... I’ve grown up in this city now I can’t stand it. I will spend the gas to take my kids hiking outside the city limits.

It borders a really busy four lane street so it is noisy. There is a short trail that was beautiful and I couldn’t hear the traffic, but it isn’t long enough to get a good walk in.

Most of the trail is underwater right now.

Very nice walk with my sons, we wished we had brought binoculars to see the birds better!

Fun cute little trail near the pond. Beautiful view. I went when it was snowing so if course it was muddy. I’d suggest going across the street to the rhododendron garden even if you have to pay the $5 admission in the spring time. It’s a gorgeous area.

Pleasant walk around marshes. Simple and flat. Nice for catching up with a friend.

Nice walk, lovely water and very small ups and downs. Enjoyed it! Will be back! Was glad I had the AllTrails app, it’s easy to take a wrong turn here. GPS tracking on the trail was EXTREMELY helpful. Good signal so no worries about that folks!!

Nice short stroll. Added rhododendron gardens to lengthen it a bit

Great for hiking with toddler. It was mostly flat and easy to walk without a lot of roots in the path.

this place is great it's Urban, also has some trails that are paved, but the best thing about this is the lake and all of the bark dust cover Trails for a nice soft foot strike. The only downside is it's very confusing and you can kind of get out of whack of where you're trying to go and I ended up over inside of a school and got all crazy other than that it's extremely great place to go

This trail is closed for renovation as of 10/10/17

Nice easy walk. Lots to look at even in the winter months (lots of variety of ducks and even saw a beaver). Very serene midweek in October

Too short and no water :( but lots of animals and beautiful foliage!

Nice short easy hike close to home. The only drawback was the people who left their dogs poo bags near the beginning of the trail.

I would have given it 5 stars but the porta potties reeks so bad if you were Within half a mile of them. other then that was perfect on a hot day.

Great for berry picking. My son had a great time here.

nice i like a swamp zone. saw some birds, they seemed to have some kind of club going on in the bushes.

This is a massive construction site at the moment: 7/27/2017. It doesn't look accessible from the road.

Flat, very pretty, hardly anyone there ☺

It's a nice even path. It does have roots and things that might trip you up if you aren't careful. But good for young and old alike. It's more of a walk than I hike, but still nice.
