Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area extends one mile out from the Oregon coast. The 93-foot lighthouse has been guiding ships along the coast since August 20, 1873. NOTE: As of July 2020, the road leading to this trailhead is closed due to COVID-19. You may still park and walk from 101 however. Please check with the park for updates. Accessibility: The trail surface is paved and it is typically at least six feet wide. The average grade is 2% and the max grade is 4% on this route. It is suggested that wheelchair and stroller users stay on this route and avoid going on the trails further south because the steep greatly increases there, up to 25%.Show more
