Really cool lighthouse, cool beach with big rocks, and fun hike up the hill to get 360 views of the coastline.

nice trail

Love the access to the forest and the beach. The trail consists in large part of campground roads, which isn’t my favorite. The nature trail starts near the welcome center, at space C3. There is little to no cell service. There is a junior ranger program for kids 6-12, but I’m not sure if it’s only available to campers. Ask at the welcome center. The beach has lots of fossils to collect if you take the time to look. Fabulous whale watching in season!

I'm not sure that it's really supposed to be a trail at all. If you start at Sam Case Elementary and go around the bar crossing the gravel road it quickly turns into some steep descent followed by a pretty gnarly climb. I'm in better than ok shape and it's a good challenge even if it's short. After you finish, the beginning of the bay to coast trail is just a hundred or so meters away which runs all the way to Agate Beach wayside.

A long, long time ago with another wife;s family. Great place... We were there on a rare beautiful calm day.

Beautiful nature walk

I ran most of the trail. It is only one person thin. It was short and fun. Took some great photos. Very few people travel it because the trail was overgrown in several places. you have to pay to access this trail...7 dollar day use. it is located near the restrooms by the lighthouse at Yaquina Head.

Beautiful trail along the estuary. Saw lots of wildlife including a blue heron and a eagle. Very flat, easy trail. Short and perfect for young children too. Really enjoyed it. Takes about 45 minutes to walk out and back.

Nice place to visit.

Short easy hike/nature walk. Lots to see when the tide is low. We saw seals and their pups and were told some of the mama seals were getting ready to birth. The tide pools were full of life. We spotted an Eagle and several other birds I haven’t ID’d yet. The interpretive center was nice and staffed by friendly knowledgeable people. It cost $7 to park unless you have a Federal parks pass.

Fun walk. We saw whales sea lions and two bald eagles.

Rainy Day on the Oregon Coast but that just led to the mystique and beauty. Great Lighthouse tour and guide. Highly recommended!

What great views and I it was my first time seeing a tide pool and saw some pretty cool creatures!

Very short, quick and easy hike at yaquina bay. Went on a cloudy day and it was still beautiful. Easy for everyone, slight incline all the way up makes it doable.

This place has Sand Dunes that I have never seen on a beach before! Despite how sunny it was, it got super windy the closer we got to the water. But it was still really scenic and pretty. We didn't make it in time to explore the lighthouse, but the walk out to the beach itself is still a good consolation prize.
