Beautiful weather and views at the top. Snow is all gone where trail is located.

Great view from the top! Trail up was okay, nothing too great but worth the trip up! My phone cut out so I didn’t get all the miles but about 7 miles round trip seems right.

Beautiful hike today up to Pechuck. Saw tons of avalanche lilies, trilliums and a few glacier lilies and wind flowers. the lookout is really cool and clean (smells a bit like pot inside but we aired it out a bit) took a summit nap on the big rocks out back and hiked down to the Jefferson view. Special day. No snow at all. We were the only ones there.

As far as the snow goes it’s pretty much all melted! Beautiful views at the top and not very high trafficked with other hikers. Lots of trilliums along the hike and berry bushes are starting to flower. The rhododendrons aren’t in bloom quite yet.

Just did this trail today, there was still snow on the ground after the hot weather the past few days. The rock field was tricky - some areas had snow that went up to our hips. So you definitely have to be careful. It was a great, adventurous trip though.

There is still a bunch of snow if you are not in the trees. We called it at the rock field due to snow depth. It might be another month before it clears out.

What a hidden gem! I attempted to get to Rooster Rock as well but the snow was too deep and fog too heavy, I didn’t really know where I was going. This trail is pretty easy to navigate in the snow being on a ridgeline most of the way. The lookout was cozy! Basic first aid kit and other tools and supplies are available. The gravel road up to the trailhead after crossing over the river was in good shape. Most vehicles should be able to make it. In the winter though, probably need 4WD or AWD. You may not need snowshoes to get up there but it made my life a lot easier!

Great Hike thru western forests. some steep area's and there were a few snow drifts left. And yes the lookout smells of weed. I'll check it out again in the summer when the shutters are off.

Steep hill to start you off but a great hike!

This one is a butt kicker right at the jump but slow and steady wins the race and the lookout is pretty cool (although it reeks of weed and mold during the winter!) I would call this one challenging due to the steep switchbacks but an awesome view and well worth the 185 BPMs for the first mile!!

The Molalla river recreation area is great for hiking! Just make sure you check the trail map before heading out. The trails are partly well marked but not so much the further in you go! Beautiful area running along the Molalla river.

Beautiful hike through the woods to an amazing view of the mountains.

I completed this hike on 1/6/18 with a couple of friends. The snow in the Rock field was the most challenging part as it was hard to navigate through the trail while sinking in almost a foot of snow in some cases. It is still doable with regular hiking boots if you're up to the challenge. Bring warm clothes; gloves would help. I'd recommend checking the weather before hand too and be cautious and aware of the risks of hiking through ice and snow.

Reaching the trail head was a little confusing on it's own. If it weren't for another user who mentioned following the Table Rock trail sign with the black arrow, we wouldn't have found it. Follow your GPS to the trail as normal but once a few miles away, keep an eye out for the sign mentioned before. Simply follow that main gravel road (there are two forks I believe but remain on the road going up) and you'll reach the top of the road where the hike is. we

Easy quick hike Sunday 12/17/17. No others at trailhead. Took about 2.5 hours to top taking our time and navigating ice. Light snow on old road in beginning, patches of ice and snow on trail up. Snow around 8 inches deep at top. Managed hike using Yaktraks, but boulder field was a bit of a scramble. Trail easy to follow.

Snow on the boulder field bring micro spikes or yak tracks - still passable ! Perfect 10 day today ! Definitely able to make it to the top with our two pups ! Watch out if you put in “ table rock trailhead “ in your GPS you will miss your turn but there is a sign with a hard to read black arrow that will guide you up the right road ! ( posted a picture above) Some snow on road but nothing crazy ! Do it this week if you can !

hardly a trace of snow, still cold! trail in good condition although a lot of down timber. no rat traffic in the lookout at night! use the hand saw and leave some wood to dry inside. trees surrounding the lookout are blocking the view. Not my call to do anything about it! Cheers.

Hiked the Loop on Nov 17- rainy start, but the sun came out half way through our trek. Beautiful trail & well marked. I would not rate this hard- more of a moderate hike. It has rained a lot this week and there are 2 creeks that you have to “jump” over: 1 had a small slick log and the other had a log that submerged when weight was added. Nice gradual uphill grade and never saw another person.

Beautiful but we didn’t make it to the top due to lack of time. There was snow but still hikeable at the moment. Can’t imagine it will last much longer without proper snow hiking gear.

Table Mountain itself is beautiful. The view of Mt Hood + the rest at the top is beautiful. Not beautiful? The recent clearcuts surrounding the wilderness. Still, the view is worth it & would maybe be one of the best in the PDX area imho if it weren't for the bald forests. If it's clear, Rainier, St. Helens, Adams, the Three Sisters, Hood & Mt Jeff are all visible - especially the last two. Super nice.

Probably snow now, but great in early summer for wildflowers. Plus, one of the cleanest trailhead bathroom facilities I've seen in my life. You could practically eat off the floors (but uh... don't).

The Huckleberry trail was great! I just hadn't realized we'd be hiking back on the road.

Not a bad trail. I have gone three times and I only met another couple of hikers once. Unfortunately they also had dogs and their Pomeranian tried to attack my husky which resulted in my dog biting it, and the stupid people hitting my dog. But as far as the trails go, they are pretty nice. Peaceful. Just dont go when they are doing a trail ride on horse back.

Great views of the Cascades on a clear day. Was not a fan of the giant horse flies all over the trail and at the top.

on Pechuck Lookout

Short trail. The beginning is pretty tough but it gets easier after you get to the ridge. Once at the top, take the trail to the left to go to Rooster Rock or go right to Peachuck Lookout. The trail begins across from the billboard. There is another trail that leads from the parking lot which I assume is an old fire access road, but am unsure. We made the mistake of going down it. It didn't seem trafficked at all. There is a small mound at the beginning of that trail, don't go there. The beginning of this trail starts climbing pretty rapidly.

This is a fantastic hike. I went during the week and did not see a single other person. Beware of the bear and cougar in the area. I encountered a large bear in the parking area at the trail head. The lookout is very well taken care of, and the trail is maintained. It is a good example of a moderate difficulty trail with some ups and downs and a few flat areas.

Loved this trail. The views from the top could have been so much prettier had the air not been filled with smoke from all of the wildfires, but it was gorgeous nonetheless. The boulder field was fun...enjoyed the different aspects to this trail.
