The upper trail has a tree across it, but you can either go around or crawl under a branch. It's not terrible if you're reasonably agile. Otherwise a nice home today. A few muddy spots on the upper trail. Lots of water flowing today over the falls.

What a lovely day to take this hike. Old growth, dense forest and lots to see. There was a down tree, however we were able to shimmy between the branches to get through. There is a bit of a climb up to the top but not too bad, even for a semi inexperienced hiker. Water is around you the entire way. Well worth the drive!!

This hike is lovely. As stated below, majestic falls trail is inaccessible due to a downed tree. However there is plenty of trail to still enjoy. It's more of a take your time, sort of trail. It is beautiful and lush everywhere you look with most old growth ornamented in lichen. It was nice to stop and meditate on the sound of the falls and rushing river. I will come back, worth an out of the way drive! The air is crisp and there are a cluster of picnic benches at the head of the trail, in case you want to make a day of it. My dog also enjoyed it!

To me it was a pretty short and easy hike, with mildly difficult stairs but it was BEAUTIFUL. The waterfalls were much bigger than I had thought they were, and had great access to several gorgeous spots.

Short, but incredibly beautiful hike. Hiked it last summer and on April 15th this year. Nice to compare the two hikes and differences in flow rates.

Short but sweet hike! Definitely glad I stopped by this one. Well maintained trail. A bit of uphill but not bad. The waterfall is beautiful!

One of my favorite hikes. Beautiful day! Very little mud, besides one or two small sections.

Only *caution* is there are two downed trees that are blocking portions of the trail. Usually it's a loop, but a tree is completely blocking off one route to Majestic Falls. This block forces you to use the alternate route crossing the road where you'll hit Crystal Pool first, then Majestic Falls. This alternate route also a large uprooted tree on this path, but you are able to shimmy down around. A little slippery, be careful!

Great area to explore. The trail is kind of non linear so you can hike the area slightly different at your choosing. Mild sets of stairs throughout. We visited at the end of winter and will definitely come back in the summer to get in the water at the Crystal Pool!

Great little hike, little erosion of some of the steps and wood bridge. Short trail but fun
