Beau well marked trail! Would love to come when there’s snow on the ground to snowshoe.

Good family hike with 12, 9 & 7 years old kids . Very nice to hike this trail during a hot summer day. Well marked.

Easy to moderate trail as far as hiking is concerned. This area is a grid work of trails that kinda makes for a make-your-own adventure. Fairly detailed printed maps are available at the trailhead, but the print is small. Trail is also used for biking and equestrian activities. This would be a prime biking trail, but is okay for hiking. Not many terrific views but you can catch glimpses of the valley and the opposing mountain range through the trees.

Great easy trail, I was gonna do something longer but have an injury and wasn’t feeling great. I fell back on this one and it was perfect!

great views, rock garden rocks.

There’s still a bit of snow on the ground so it made hiking a little difficult for us (I brought my boys who are 6 and 10). There’s also a stream that needs to be crossed that had just a few thick branches thrown across for walking: be prepared to get your shoes wet. Other than that, it was a great and clearly marked trail. Will do again but probably when it’s warmer.

It was a heavenly trail. The rock garden describes rocks in the trail for bikers. There was never any climbing over rocks. The most clearly marked trail I have ever been on. Beautiful woods and mountain meadows and some pretty views. Recommend it strongly. This trail is part of a big trail system, all of which are clearly marked.

Fun trail hitting both red apple and rock garden. couple tough slopes here and there but overall easy and fun hike.

Great Hike trails are clear. good trail for all ages

This was a pretty, moderate hike. One nice mountain vista and in and out of shade the whole way. Signs were decently marked, the trail head has a bathroom and paper copies of the trail maps if you want one. Even on a beautiful weekend day in the summer it wasn’t crowded on the trail.

Awesome Hike! When you get to the Mount Emily trailhead and look at the map they have it can get quite confusing. There are several different hikes and some hikes are only accessible by hiking a separate trail to reach it. There are many signs and they are quite confusing, they are all labeled but it can become challenging to distinguish which sign is pointing to which trail, just trust your gut and match it with the site map and you should be fine. This 7 mile loop is actually called Mera loop once you get up there and there are several different hikes that stem off of this one. I only did the loop this time but really want to go back and try some of the different hikes that shoot off of this one. Beautiful hike, a couple cool streams and bridges you have to cross over. There’s a couple picnic tables once you reach the halfway point. All in all a moderate 7 mile hike!! Look out for the huckleberries!!

I would do this again! Great scenery and hardly anyone on trail! Great workout :) moderate trail

Great route for an after work walk, good place to exercise the dogs. Many trails off this road.

It was a very beautiful hike. Lots of uphill. One major downfall, we never came across a view point and the trail signs are very confusing. More of a walk around the woods then scenery hiking. Other than that, it is very clean and quiet. A nice getaway.

Beautiful view and definitely worth seeing the valley for. As a pet owner, be warned of the ticks on Mt. Emily in June and July. Our dog loved the hike but was not thrilled with the 10 or so ticks we pulled off him. :-( ,Otherwise awesome hike!
