Such a fun hike to do with my pups!

It definitely was the perfect hike just to spend a lite amount of time at. The trail is short but, beautiful by the creek from the waterfall. Also, a lot of cool trees that make excellent bridges.

Very snow when I went, but definitely worth the hike

Still too much snow to see any trail from the pond. Definitely worth going at least that far on a clear day to see Mt Hood. Will come back again in a few weeks after the rest melts!

(5/4/17) Great trip! Throughout the hike there was a scatter of snow and ice packs so be careful. At the lake there was 2+ feet of snow and got to about 45F at night. Awesome experience!!

Crowded with bikes on a large part of the trail. Easy for kids.

Such a fun trail in the snow. Right now the pond is mostly covered in snow and the trail is completely covered. It is very passable up to the pond but we had to turn back after that because there was no sign of tracks in the snow leading to the top. Lots of powder around the pond. Will definitely come back when it is clear to the top!

Love this hike.

Awesome Trail, great views, beautiful lake, could see Mt. Hood. Did this hike a long time ago when I was a young teenager with family. I don't remember what time of year it was, but everything was covered in snow, so winter/early spring I'm thinking. Loved it.

Beautiful hike, not too tough as long as you're okay with up hill the entire way there, but besides that the trail is simple and pounded down from high volumes of hiking traffic. You can camp at the lake or you can continue up to Tom, Dick & Harry Ridge, which gives a wonderful view. I've been up to this lake a few times now just as day trips for hiking and for photography purposes. You can see Mt. Hood clearly from the lake as well, which makes for beautiful pictures and vistas.
