Beautiful sunny day on the last few weeks of summer. My first time on this trail...but definitely not my last!

nice easy bike ride

This is a very pretty walk. It goes along the river all the way.

Nice for a bike ride or family walk

Easy paved trail, but lots of freeway noise.

Very hot in the summer!

Nice fairly level trail with graceful curves along the river. A few benches viewpoints to enjoy the river. Freeway noise remind you you’re not in the wilderness Good for a slow bicycle cruise or a walk.

I walk this flat paved trail often only because it is close to my home. Being next to the freeway can be annoying but a good power walk trail.

Decent trail for a run or stroll by the river. The trail runs from the City of Rogue River to Valley of the Rogue State Park (and a bit beyond). I'm not the biggest fan of this trail since it runs right alongside the freeway and you get all the traffic noise along with your walk/run. But it's close to town and has easy off and on access.

Nice little walk from the Rogue River campground to the town of Rogue River and back. All of the trail is along the beautiful river. Part of it is dirt and much of it is paved and nearly level so especially the end from town could be done in a chair.
