Trees are beautiful, wind felt great, and the tide pools are spectacular. The wild life ranged from blue jays and crickets to sea urchins and star fish, definitely recommend to people who don’t mind the climb on your way back up!

I would count this hike as hard since the sand dunes are hard and pretty steep to get up and over. You could take a longer routine and go around some of the taller dunes, but the sand is still hard to walk on.

This is a beautiful trail along the edge of the Cape. It can be very windy in spots but there are also wonderful views. The trail surface is paved part way and the rest of the trail has roots and rocks to avoid. We did not hike to the end of the trail but enjoyed the distance we hiked. We also met only a few other hikers.

This is an easy trail to hike and you arrive at some breathtaking vistas. It would be great with older children. There are no fences at the edges so small, young children would have to be very carefully and closely supervised.. The day we hiked the wild flowers smelled wonderful.

This place is awesome! Can't believe it took this long to discover it. Spent a few hours up here last weekend; stayed for an awesome sunset! I plan to go back again this summer!!!

Unfortunately we hiked this on a windy day. Completely blown, but it was still fun. We were the only ones on the entire beach.

Forgot to turn on app so didn’t record entire hike. Nice hike though.

We had poor timing for this trail, the wind was howling and the sand was blowing. This is just a long walk on a beach.

Awesome trial. Make sure you walk all the way to the Beach. Make sure to watch out for poison oak.

Beautiful day hike on July 3, 2019. Easy stroll down with easy rope ladder to beach. Beautiful way to spend a late morning before justifying that large lunch!!

I came on a day that was so windy when I open my car door I thought it was going to blow off oh, but I went on the trail anyways and was absolutely amazed. The mountain and the trees block the wind for almost the entire hike and there were bunnies, lizards, birds, starfishs beautiful flowers, and an amazing view of the ocean. it smelled amazing the entire way and was definitely an enjoyable hike!

This trail was short but breathtaking! It was very windy but the beauty was worth it. Numerous wildflowers grow along the cliffs and shorebirds and swallows were roosting in the cliff-sides. We loved it!

Amazing view!

LOVED this hike. Some muddy spots but not too bad. There are lots of paths you can take so I am not 100% sure whether I followed this path exactly but used this map as the starting point. There are signs as you hike which are easy to see and follow. I highly recommend hiking towards the waterfall, it brings you to the top of a tall and gorgeous waterfall emptying straight down onto the beach. Probably not the safest for children and off-leash dogs but there is plenty of space to enjoy the view without being near the edge.

There are some volunteers that keep this trail in shape. They've outdone themselves! They created about .4 miles of new trail and a new loop... Nicely done! Nice little loop trail.

Lightly traveled is right and was one of the reasons I wanted to explore this trail as my dog likes to run off leash. However, the seldom traveled has its draw backs as the trail head was overgrown and difficult to find except for the sign among the tall grass. The directions on this app takes you to 80 Acres Rd but I feel that’s wrong as the trail and a large turn out is on the opposite side of 101 and it can be very dangerous to try to run across. The trail itself was a bit overgrown with blackberry and other prickly plants that made the hike at times cumbersome and I came away with scratches. Mud in lots of places but that’s the Oregon coast for you. Overall this was a fun hike that reminds you of something out of Jurassic Park. The beach is secluded with not a sole in sight, perfect!

This is a very beautiful hike. I’d definitely recommend it!!

Super muddy this time of year (mid-April) and there was some blowdowns BUT the seclusion was so worth the muddy car! Like the previous review, not one track of another human. Loved it. Great beach.

Really liked this trail. I went in mid-April so of course it was muddy but way worth it. Couple of cute little bridges, singing birds, running water, tons of trees and ferns. Really enjoyed this trail and the beach spot was great. Rocks to climb on and lots of fun exploring to do. Would love to do it again in summer. Was definitely sweating on the way back up but totally manageable. The pup had a great time. Tons of cobwebs so if you’re with another person, have them walk in front!

One word, muddy! My pup was just covered, which was completely adorable until we got back to the car. The trail itself was alright I liked the 333 trail way more. I don’t think the extra bit of add on was worth it. If you’re looking to add more miles just do more exploring on the beach. Solid 2.5 out of 5

Great little stroll along the rocky coast with our pup. Make sure to go during low tide to see as much of the formations as you can!

There's a volunteer group that grooms the trail and they've recently groomed it all.... Kudos to them. The trail is the widest I've ever seen. There is a sand dune on the end but it is a very easy, very modest walk that a toddler could do right now. The dunes change however with winter storms and so does the creek in this area but I've never seen it when you couldn't easily get to the ocean.

Beautiful
